Abstract
Mobil Öğrenmenin Öğrencilerin Akademik Başarılarına Etkisi Mobil cihazlar günümüzde birçok alanda hayatı kolaylaştıran araçlardır. Mobil cihazların kullanımı her geçen gün artmakta ve bu cihazları kullanan bireylerin yaş aralıkları da genişlemektedir. Mobil öğrenmenin bir eğitim türü olarak geliştiği günümüzde her alanda çeşitli mobil tabanlı eğitim uygulamaları tasarlanmakta ve uygulanmaktadır. Tablet teknolojisinin okullarda yer almaya başlaması, ülkemizde de bu tür çalışmaların üniversiteler ve Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından yaygınlaşmasını gerektirir. Dolayısıyla, meslek liselerinde okuyan öğrencilere yönelik mobil öğretim ortamı tüm bilimsel ve pedagojik ilkeler esas alınarak geliştirilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Mobil öğrenme, mobil cihazlar üzerinden, zaman ve mekâna bağlı kalmadan gerçekleştirilmesi seklinde ifade edilebilir. Bu tür eğitimlerin amacı; teknolojiden yararlanarak geleneksel eğitime katkıda bulunurken, aynı zamanda, alternatif bir öğrenme yöntemi geliştirmek olduğu da kabul edilmektedir. Teknolojide olan gelişmeler mobil teknolojileri de etkilemektedir. Gelişen mobil teknolojiler öğrenmeyi daha etkili hale getirmek için kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, günümüz teknolojisi ile eğitim teknolojisindeki yeniliklerin artması sonucu ortaya çıkan mobil öğrenmenin öğrenciler tarafından kullanım durumlarının belirlenmesi ve görüşlerinin alınmasıdır. Araştırmada kullanılması amacıyla geliştirilen anket 2014-2015 Eğitim Öğretim yılı içerisinde Yalova Mesleki ve Anadolu Teknik Lisesi’nde okuyan öğrencilerine uygulanarak, elde edilen bulgular SPSS (Statistical PackageforSocialSciences) kullanılarak analiz edilecektir. Sonuç olarak mobil öğrenmenin geleneksel öğrenmeye göre başarı oranını arttıracağı gözlenecektir. Mobil, Mobil Öğrenme, Mobil Teknolojiler
Impact On The Academic Success of Mobile Learning Students Mobile devices are among the tools that facilitate life in many respects nowadays. The use of mobile devices becomes increasingly widerand the agerange of the individuals using these devices also expands. Nowadays, because of mobile learning has been emerging as a new education branch, it is observed that a wide variety of mobile-based education applications has been designed and implemented. When the fact that the tablet technology has been gradually used in the schools is considered, these types of studies are supposed to be generalized by Ministry of National Education and by the universities. Therefore, mobile teaching environment has been worked to be developed by considering all scientificand pedagogical principlesespecially to wards the students studying computer science at vocational high schools. Mobile learning may be defined as the realization of mobile devices without any time and space restrictions. Main aim of these training methods is regarded as making contribution to traditional training mechanisms while at the same time developing new alternative learning methods. The developments in technology reflect the mobile technology as well. The advances in mobile technology are started to be used to make the learning more effective. The purpose of this work is to determine the function of mobile learning, which is increased to be used due to the great advances in technology and education technology, by taking the opinions of students. The questionnaire used in this survey is conducted to the students of Yalova Vocationaland Technical Hight School, and the findings are analyzed with SPSS(Statistical PackageforSocialSciences). Consequently, it has been observed that mobile learning is a contributing factorin terms of increase in success rate rather than traditional learning. Mobile, Mobile learning, Mobile Technologies.
