Publication: Bir psikolojik destek programının engelli bebek annelerinin duygu durumlarına etkisi
Abstract
T Bu araştırma bir psikolojik destek programının engelli bebek annelerinin duygu durumlarını etkileyip etkilemediğini saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın deneklerini Trakya Üniversitesi Armağan Dönertaş Zihin ve Hareket Engelli Çocuklar Eğitim ve Araştırma Merkezinde eğitim ve rehabilitasyona katılan 1-3 yaş arası serebral palsili bebek anneleri oluşturmaktadır. Gönüllülük ilkesine göre seçilen anneler 10 deney, 10 kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 20 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Psikolojik destek programının annelerin duygularını etkileyip etkilemediğini ölçmek amacıyla 8 hafta devam eden yardım sürecinin başında ve sonunda, hem deney hem kontrol grubu annelerine pozitif negatif duygu ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Haftada bir kez, bir buçuk saat olarak gerçekleştirilen psikolojik destek sürecine katılan deney grubu annelerine bebeklerinin gelişimleri ile ilgili bilgiler, iletişim ve problem çözme becerilerine yönelik bilgi ve etkinlikler ile duygu ve düşüncelerini paylaşabilmeleri için uygun fırsatlar verilmiştir. Kontrol grubunu oluşturan anneler ile bu süreçte hiçbir uygulamaya katılmamıştır. Program süreci sonunda iki grubun pozitif ve negatif duygularında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının kendi içlerinde öntest ve sontest duygu puanlarında da anlamlı bir farklılık görülmemiştir. Fakat gözlemler ve annelerin yaptıkları değerlendirmeler, deney grubu annelerinin tanışmaktan, duygularını paylaşmaktan, bilgi almak ve programa katılmaktan memnun olduklarını göstermiştir. kolojik destek duygular, engelli bebek annesi iii
This survey has been made to determine whether the psychological support program affects the emotions of mothers who have infants with cerebral palsy between the ages 1-3. Samples of the survey are the mothers of the infants with CP vho had participate education and rehabilitation program at Trakya University Armağan Dönertaş Zihin ve Hareket Engelli Çocuklar Merkezi. The aspect of volunteering has been taken into account in covering samples that are formed from 20 mothers, 10 of which are for the experimental and 10 for the control group. In order to investigate whether the psychological support program affects the emotions of mothers; each mother regardless of what group they belonged to, is appied Positive - Negative Affect Schedule at the begining and at the end of the process of assistance that lasted for eight week. The mothers of the experimental group, who joined the process of psychological support program 1.5 hours a week are given information about development of her babies, information and activities about effective communication and problem solving skills, opportunity to share their feelings, opinions and experiences. During this period the control group did not participate any application. At the end of the program process, there was no significant difference between positive and negative affect of two groups. Also each group's pre-test post-test scores are compared within group and it's not been observed a meaningful divergence. However, the observations and evaluotion of program,made by mothers revealed that, the mothers of experimental group like to meeting each other, sharing feeling, take information and participating this program. psychological support programme, emotions, mother with disabled infant
