Publication: Kral Şakir çizgi filminin içerdiği değerler açısından incelenmesi
Abstract
Toplum yapılarının çeşitli nedenlerle değişimine şahit olduğumuz bu dönemlerde nesilden nesile geleceğe aktarılan kültür ögelerinden biri de değerlerimizdir. Değerler eğitimi anne karnında başlayarak çevrenin etkisiyle şekillenmektedir. Ailede başlayıp okulda devam eden değerler eğitimini olumlu ve olumsuz çevre faktörleri etkilemektedir. Çocukların erken yaşlarda tanıştıkları kitle iletişim araçları ise değerler eğitimi açısından önemli çevre faktörlerindendir. Çocuğun değer gelişimini etkileyen en önemli çevresel etmen ise medyadır. Çocuğa rol model olması açısından ebeveynlere karşı medya çok güçlü bir rakiptir. Çocukların değer gelişimine destek olmak adına onları nitelikli medya ürünleriyle karşılaştırmamız gerekmektedir. Çizgi filmler, çocukların vazgeçilmezi konumundadır. Bilgi verme, eğlendirme dışında çizgi filmlerin bir de değer aktarımı rolü bulunmaktadır. Çizgi filmler çocukların hayal dünyasını zenginleştirirken çizgi film kahramanları rol model olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Çocuk sevdiği çizgi filmdeki kahramanı kendine örnek alarak olumlu ve olumsuz davranışlarını gerçekleştirmeye çalışmaktadır. Bu noktada çocuğun izlemesini tercih edeceğimiz çizgi filmler uzman görüşü alınarak ailenin filtresinden geçmelidir. Bu araştırmada Cartoon Network ve Kral Şakir Youtube kanalında halen yayınlanan ilkokul çağındaki çocuklar tarafından en çok izlenen Türk yapımı ‘‘Kral Şakir’’ çizgi filminin içerdiği değerler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma nitel bir araştırma olup durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Cartoon Network kanalında 2016 yılında yayınlanan Kral Şakir çizgi filminin rastgele seçilen 60 bölümü Kral Şakir Youtube kanalında incelenmiştir. Görsel ve sözel iletiler bulgular kısmında birlikte gösterilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda incelenen bölümlerde toplam 688 olumlu değere rastlanırken 286 olumsuz davranışa ilişkin örnekle karşılaşılmıştır. En sık tekrarlanan üç değer yardımlaşma, nezaket ve Türk kültürüne ait motiflere yer verme değeri ; en az tekrar edilen üç değer ise kanaatkarlık, tutumluluk ve takdir edilme değeri olduğu görülmüştür. En sık tekrarlanan üç olumsuz davranış öfkeli olma, hakaret etme ve hırslı olma; en az tekrar edilen üç olumsuz davranış ise kavga etme, iftira atma ve tehlikeli madde kullanımı olduğu görülmüştür. Kral Şakir çizgi filminin incelenen bölümlerinde olumsuz değerlere ilişkin örneklere rastlanmasına rağmen çizgi filmin genelde olumlu bir yapıda olduğu görülmüştür.
During this current period of time, for a variety of reasons, today we are witnessing changes in the structure of schools, and one of the cultural elements being transferred from generation to generation is our values. Values education begins in the womb and is shaped by the influences of the environment. Both positive and negative environmental factors affect the values of education that start in the family and continue at school. As such, media is currently serving as a role model for children and is a strong competitor of the parents. Cartoons play an important role in the transfer of values to children, and even at the mention of cartoons, children spring to mind. It is known that cartoons have an informative function apart from just entertainment, and cartoons, with their simple structures and visuals, make it easy and fun for children to perceive the complex word. While enriching the imagination of children, the beloved cartoon heroes appear as role models and serve as examples of positive or negative behavior which the child tries to emulate. Because of this hero power of suggestion, it is preferable that the cartoons that children watch be filtered by families receiving expert opinion on the subject. Furthermore, it should be kept in mind that everything a child watches will affect him or her. In our research, a qualitative study and a case study design was used to examine the most-watched Turkish made cartoon movie, Kral Sakir-- a movie that is currently being broadcast on the Cartoon Network and on the Kral Sakir Youtube Channel. A Cartoon Observation Form was prepared for the researcher to complete while observing the cartoon. Visual and verbal messages are shown together in the findings section. As a result of the research of the examined sections, there were a total of 688 positive behavioral values found and a total of 286 examples of negative behaviors found. The three most frequently repeated values are cooperation , kindness and the value of including motifs from Turkish culture; The three least repeated values were found to be frugality, frugality and appreciation. The three most frequently repeated negative behaviors re being angry, insulting and being ambitious ; The three least repeated negative behaviors were fighting slandering and use of dangerous substances. The most repeated value seen was the value of helping each other. Although there were examples of negative values encountered in the examined sections of the Kral Sakir cartoon, overall, it was seen that this cartoon contained positive values.
