Publication: Alişah B.Hacı Büke (?-1500)’nin mukaddimetü’l-usul adlı eseri
Abstract
Alişah b. Hacı Büke (? -1500)'nin Mukaddimetü'l-Usûl Adlı Eseri ko-nulu doktora tezimiz üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Alişah'ın hayatı, eserleri ve döneminin mûsikî nazariyat-çıları ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmeğe çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Mukaddimetü'l-Usûl'ün çevirisine yer verilmiştir. Çeviri ile birlikte bilinmeyen bazı kelimelerin açıklamaları yapılmış, yazarın alıntı yaptı-ğı bilgilerin kaynakları tesbit edilip sayfalandırılmış ve bu alıntılar içersinde rast-lanan yanlış bilgiler değerlendirilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Mukaddimetü'l-Usûl'ün değerlendirilmesine yer ve-rilmiştir. Bu bölüm elhan ilmi ve îkâ ilmi olarak iki ana başlık altında ele a-lınmış; konuların günümüzle ilgisi ve orijinallikleri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak Mukaddimetü'l-Usûl'ün, XV. Yüzyıl Türk Mûsikîsinin ö-nemli bir halkasını oluşturduğu, günümüze önemli bilgiler kazandırdığı görül-müştür.
THE MUQADDIMA AL-USÛL BY ALISHAH B. HAJI BUKA (?-1500) The dissertation, Muqaddima al-Usul by Alishah b. Haji Buka (?-1500), consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, the life and the works of Alishah and the eminent mu-sicians as well as their works in the period of Alishah are investigated. In the second chapter, the translation of Muqaddima al-Usul is presented. With the presentation of Muqaddima al-Usul, the meanings of some obscure words in the original text are illuminated, the sources of Muqaddima are investi-gated, their page numbers are given, and apparently wrong informations and ideas are pointed out. The third chapter attempts to interpret Muqaddima. The interpretation is divided into two sections under the titles of a) Science of Melodies and b) Science of Rhythm. Occasionally, the relevance of the treatise Muqaddima to the present situation of musical studies is pointed out. As a conclusion, it is demonstrated that Muqaddima al-Usul established a significant phase in XV. Century Turkish musical studies and still continues to open a horizon for the modern studies on Turkish music.
