Seyf-i Sarâyî’nin Gülistan tercümesi’nde metaforlar

Abstract

Seyf-i Sarâyî’nin Gülistan Tercümesi’nde Metaforlar adlı bu tez, iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde metaforun kuramsal incelenmesi yapılmış, ikinci bölümde ise Gülistan Tercümesi metaforik olarak incelenmiştir.Tezin birinci bölümünde metafor kavramı açıklanmış; çok anlamlılık, eş anlamlılık, ad aktarması ve benzetmenin metaforla ilişkisi karşılaştırılmıştır. Bilişsel anlam bilimi ve terimleri, dünyada ve Türkiye’de yapılan metafor çalışmaları anlatılmış. Yine bu bölümde metaforların sınıflandırılmasına değinilmiştir.Tezin ikinci bölümünde tespit edilen metaforlar sınıflandırılmış ve açıklamaları yapılmıştır. Seyf-i Sarâyî’nin Gülistan Tercümesi’nde ontolojik metaforların çokça bulunduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu metaforlar da kendi içinde sınıflanmaktadır. İncelenen bu eserde yönelim metaforları, ontolojik metaforlara göre çok azdır.

Metaphors in Seyf-i Sarâyî’s Gülistan Translation titled this thesis, consists of two parts. In the first part, theoretical examination of metaphor was researched and in the second part, the Translation of Gülistan was studied in metaphor.In the first part of the thesis, the concept of metaphor is explained; is polysemy, synonymous, metonym and the relationship of simile to metaphor was compared. Cognitive semantic science and its terms, metaphor studies in Turkey and in the world are mentioned. Again, at this chapter refers to the classification of metaphors.Metaphors determined in the second part of the thesis were classified and explained. It was concluded Seyf-i Sarâyî’s ontological metaphors were found to be very abundant in Gülistan Translation. These metaphors are also classified in itself. Orientation metaphors are very little compared to ontological metaphors in this study.
