İbrahim Müteferrika, Usûlüʼl-Hikem Fî Nizâmiʼl-Ümem (inceleme-metin)

Abstract

ÖZETBu çalışma, İbrahim Müteferrikaʼnın Usûlüʼl-Hikem Fî Nizâmiʼl-Ümem adlı eserine dairdir. Türk modernleşmesinde önemli bir yeri olan bu esere dair bugüne kadar pek çok değerlendirme yapılmış; eser, biri sadeleştirme diğeri ise matbu nüshanın Latinize edilmesi şeklinde iki müstakil neşre de konu olmuştur. Buna mukabil neşirlerin eksiklikler, atlamalar ve yanlışlarla malul olduğu görülmüştür. Bu bakımdan elinizdeki çalışma, bu eksikliklerin giderilmesi gayesiyle hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmada, metnin transkripsiyonu verilmeden önce müellifin hayatı; telif, zeyil ve tercüme eserileri hakkında bilgi verilmiş, daha sonra ise eserle ilgili muhtelif konulara değinilmiştir. Bu madana, eserin adı; telif tarihi; hangi gerekçelerle telif edilip kime takdim edildiği; 3 bölümden oluşan eserin muhtevası hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Eser, 1732ʼde matbaanın dokuzuncu kitabı olarak ve bazı imla yanlışları bulunduğu halde 500 adet olarak basılmıştır. Daha sonra ise eserin yazma nüshaları ortaya çıkmıştır. Eserin baskısından istinsah edilen ve günümüzde hem yurtiçinde hem de yurtdışında pek çok yazma nüshası bulunmaktadır. Biz tez çalışmamızda matbu ile yurtiçindeki 7 yazma nüshayı da mukayese ettik. Bu manada ulaştığımız sonuçları tablolar halinde gösterdik. Bilahare, eserin yazımı sırasında İbrahim Müteferrikaʼnın kullanmış olabileceği kaynakları ve Usûlüʼl-Hikem'in kendinden sonra ne gibi tesirleri olduğunu ele aldık. Son olarak ise Usûlüʼl-Hikem'in matbusunu esas alan transkripsiyonunu verdik.

ABSTRACTThis study deals with the Ibrahim Müteferrika’s Usûlü’l-Hikem Fî Nizâmi’l-Ümem. This work, which holds an important place in Turkish modernization, has been studied for many times. One of this studies is about its simplification and another of them is the Latinization of the printed work. However, it’s seen that there are many setbacks, mistakes and omissions in these publications. Therefore this study aims to eliminate these deficiencies. Before transcription of the text this study gives information about the life of the author, his original works, his addition studies and his works in the field of translation. In this context, information about the name of the text, its writing date, reason of its writing, the person to whom this work was dedicated, and contents of the work which consisted of three parts, is given. Even if this work had some spelling errors it was published five hundreds of copies in 1732 as the ninth work of the printing house. Afterwards manuscripts of the work was found. There are manuscript copies which was copied from the printed copy and today many manuscript copy of the work can be found in both Turkey and abroad. In this work we compared seven manuscript copies with the printed work. We showed the results with the help of tables. Later we dealt with the sources that İbrahim Müteferrika used and the influences of Usûlü’l-Hikem to the later works. Finally we transcripted the Usûlü’l-Hikem from the printed work.
