Publication: Osmanlı döneminde arapça sözlük çalışmaları
Abstract
IX. yüzyıldan itibâren kitleler hâlinde slâm’a giren Türkler, Kur’ân, Hadîs ve dînî eserlerin Arapça olması sebebiyle bunları okuyup anlayabilmek için Arap diline büyük önem vermis ve fıkıh, hadis, tefsir, kelâm, tasavvuf gibi ilimlerin yanı sıra dil ilimleri sahasında Türkçe hattâ Arapça eserler kaleme almıslardır. Türkler, bunun yanında Arapça-Türkçe ve Türkçe-Arapça sözlük yazım faaliyetine de girismisler, tercüme ve telîf tarzında birçok sözlük yazmıslardır. Osmanlı dönemi sözlük çalısmalarının ortaya konmaya çalısıldıgı arastırmamızda öncelikle sözlük ve sözlükbilim kavramları üzerinde durulmustur. Sözlük yazım faaliyetinin tarihsel süreci ele alındıktan sonra Osmanlı döneminde yazılmıs belli baslı Arapça-Türkçe ve Türkçe-Arapça sözlükler tanıtılmaya çalısılmıstır.
From the ninth century, Turks who has converted to Islam in crowds, has attached importance to Arabic language owing to the fact that Quran and the hadith in Arabic. Beside al-fıkh, al-hadith, at-tafsir, al-kalam and at-tasavvvuf, they had written a lot of works in linguistic. Moreover, they had got down to act writing lexicons in Arabic and Turkish and had written lots of lexicons. In our quest, in which the works concerned with lexicography and lexicons in the Ottoman’s era are introduced. Firstly the concepts of lexicon and lexicography are analysed. After the historical process of writing lexicons is brought up, well-known and notable lexicons which had written in the Ottomans are introduced.
