Abstract
Üretken bir bilim insanı olan Abdülkadir İnan, hayatı boyunca dil, kültür ve tarih çalışmalarına ağırlık vermiş, bunun yanında arkeolojik bulgular ve eski Türk dinî konulu çalışmalarını da çeşitli dergi ve gazetelere vererek okuyucularına sunmuştur. Bu çalışmada Abdülkadir İnan’ın tarihçiliğini yansıtan Rusya Müslümanları hakkında olan yazılarından başlayıp konumuzla ilgili yazıları analiz ederek tarihe onun katkılarını ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır. İnan’ın bu yazılarının ağırlıklı konusu Türkistan’daki Rus işgali ve bu işgalin etkileridir. İnan, bu etkileri Rusya’nın nüfus politikaları, propaganda faaliyetleri, tarım siyaseti, baskı politikaları ve Ruslaştırma siyasetini ele alarak anlatmış ve Rus basın yayın faaliyetlerini devamlı takip ederek bu konuda duyarlılık oluşturmaya çalışmıştır. Aynı zamanda işgalin halk içindeki yankılarını destanları inceleyerek ortaya koymuş, halk kahramanlarının ve silahlı mücadeleye katılanların biyografilerini kaleme almış ve o dönemdeki dış Türklerin gündemini, yazar kesimin görüş ayrılıklarını da ortaya koymuştur. Bu sebeple İnan’ın yazıları onun tarihçiliğini ve Rusya Müslümanlarının bağımsızlık hareketlerini, siyasi ve kültürel tarihlerini yansıtması bakımından önemlidir. Tezde İnan’ın hayatı yeni bilgilerle ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış, onun tarihe dair makalelerinin analitik özetleri yapılmıştır.
A prolific scientist, Abdülkadir İnan focused on language, culture and history studies throughout his life, and also presented his works on archaeological findings and ancient Turkish religion to various magazines and newspapers. In this study, it will be tried to reveal Abdulkadir Inan's contributions to history by analyzing the articles about our subject, starting from his writings about the Muslims of Russia, which reflect his historiography. The main subject of these writings of Inan is the Russian occupation in Turkestan and the effects of this occupation. Inan explained these effects by addressing Russia's population policies, propaganda activities, agricultural policy, repression policies and Russification policy, and tried to raise awareness on this issue by constantly following the Russian press activities. At the same time, he revealed the echoes of the occupation by examining the epics, wrote the biographies of the folk heroes and those who participated in the armed struggle, and revealed the agenda of the foreign Turks at that time and the disagreements of the writers. For this reason, Inan's writings are important in terms of reflecting his historiography and the independence movements of the Muslims of Russia, as well as their political and cultural history. In the thesis, Inan's life was tried to be revealed with new information, and analytical summaries of his articles on history were made.
