Türkiye’de manevi danışmanlığın uygulama alanları ve psikolojik danışma becerileri perspektifinden yerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Din ve maneviyat kavramları son dönemde psikoloji alanında kendilerini oldukça hissettirmeye başlamıştır. İçinde yaşadığımız teknoloji çağı insanı toplumdan soyutlarken manevi arayışlara itmektedir. Bu durumun bir sonucu olarak da din ve maneviyat kavramlarının kendi içlerindeki konumları ve maneviyatın farklı din ve kültürlerdeki yeri tartışma konusu olmuştur. Maneviyat taşıdığı mana itibariyle kapsayıcı bir özelliğe sahip olup insanın var olduğu her yerde kendini göstermektedir. Türkiye özelinde de maneviyat, manevi danışmanlığın bir parçası olarak uygulama sahasında bulunmaktadır. Bu alanın ülkemizde yeni olması ve zemin arayışında farklı alanlar tarafından sahiplenilmesi manevi danışmanlığın kapsamının çizilmesine izin vermemektedir. Bir yandan manevi danışmanlık olgusunun içerisinde barındırdığı danışmanlık kavramı psikolojinin sahasına girerken maneviyat kavramı ise ilahiyat bilimleri içerisinde yer almaktadır. Psikoloji disiplininin modern bilimler kapsamında din ve maneviyata mesafeli yaklaşması bu alana girmesine engel olmaktadır. Fakat manevi danışmanlığın sistematik bir disiplin haline gelebilmesi için psikolojik danışmanlık becerilerini kendi çalışma yöntemine dahil etmesi gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda tezimiz manevi danışmanlığın ülkemizdeki kapsamı ve çalışma alanlarını inceleyerek yapılan çalışmaların çerçevesini çıkartmak istemektedir. Bunun bir sonucu olarak psikolojik danışmanlık yapma gereklilikleri ve terapötik ilişkideki temel kavramların manevi danışmanlık ile kesişim noktalarına yer vermeyi hedeflemektedir.

The concepts of religion and spirituality have recently started to make themselves felt in the field of psychology. The age of technology we live in isolates people from society and pushes them to spiritual searches. As a result of this situation, the position of the concepts of religion and spirituality within themselves and the place of spirituality in different religions and cultures have been the subject of discussion. Spirituality has an inclusive feature in terms of the meaning it carries and manifests itself wherever human beings exist. In Turkey, spirituality is in the field of practice as a part of spiritual counseling. The fact that this field is new in our country and that it is embraced by different fields in search of ground does not allow the scope of spiritual counseling to be drawn. On the one hand, the concept of counseling, which is included in the phenomenon of spiritual counselling, falls within the field of psychology, while the concept of spirituality is included in theology sciences. The psychology discipline's distant approach to religion and spirituality within the scope of modern sciences prevents it from entering this field. However, in order for spiritual counseling to become disciplinary, it needs to incorporate psychological counseling skills into its working method. In this context, our thesis wants to examine the scope and working areas of spiritual counseling in our country and to draw the framework of the studies conducted. As a result of this, it aims to include the requirements of psychological counseling and the intersection points of the basic concepts in the therapeutic relationship with spiritual counseling.
