Publication: Louis-Raymond Feuillard Günlük Egzersizleri'nin Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky'nin Bir Rokoko Teması Üzerine Çeşitlemeler eseri üzerinde uygulanması
Abstract
Viyolonselin yapısal olarak gelişimi ile birlikte viyolonsel repertuvarı gelişmekle kalmamış, aynı zamanda çellist besteciler teknik açıdan daha zor eserler yazılmaya başlamışlardır. 17. ve 18. yüzyıl besteci çellistlerin ön plana çıkarttığı bu gelişme, viyolonsel eğitimine verilen önemi beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu bağlamda; viyolonsel çalış tekniğini nesilden nesile aktarmak amacıyla metot kitaplarını tasarlayarak kaliteli bir viyolonsel eğitiminin oluşmasına vesile olmuşlardır. Kendisini viyolonsel eğitimine adamış olan Louis-Raymond Feuillard, viyolonsel eğitiminde ülkemiz ve dünya genelinde kullanılan birincil kaynaklardan biri olan Günlük Egzersizler kitabını yazmıştır. Bu egzersizlerin Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’nin Bir Rokoko Teması Üzerine Çeşitlemeler, Op.33 eseri üzerindeki teknik pasajlarla bağlantılı olması, büyük eserler ve egzersizler arasındaki bağlantıyı doğrulamaktadır.Bu araştırmada; egzersiz kitaplarının önemi, neden ihtiyaç duyuldukları ve yazıldıkları Feuillard’ın yazmış olduğu egzersizler göz önüne alınarak araştırılmıştır. Kitaptaki çalışma örnekleri incelenmiş ve sonuç olarak Tchaikovsky’nin eseri üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışma; enstrümancıların teknik gelişimi üzerine özgün bir kaynak sağlanması amacıyla bir araya getirilmiştir.
With the structural development of the cello instrument, not only its repertoire was expanded but also cellist composers started to write technically much more challenging works. This development, in which the 17th and 18th century composer cellists were the forefront, brought the importance given to the cello training. In this context, the method of cello playing was pushed to produce more advanced method books and to transfuse these techniques into upcoming generations.Louis-Raymond Feuillard, who is devoted his life to the practice of cello wrote the book Daily Exercises; it has become as one of the primarily world-wide used sources in cello training at conservatories. These exercises have been a great foundation, referring to the technical passages in Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme, Op.33, demonstrating the well-related exercises and prominent difficult works.This thesis demonstrates the importance of exercise books; why they are needed and written considering Feuillard’s exercise book. The examples of practicing methods placed in the book has been examined; and finally, applied on Tchaikovsky's great composition. This whole study has been considered to be able to provide an original discovery on technical improvement for performers.
