Çağdaş Türk Sanatında genç sanatçı kimliği

Abstract

1970’li yıllardan bu yana Türkiye sanat ortamının çağdaşlaşma sürecinde, gençliğe vurgu yapıldığı görülmekte ve gençlik yeni sanat eğilimleri ile ilişkili bulunmaktadır. Türkiye çağdaş sanat alanında genç sanatçılık olgusunu ele alan çalışma, bu alanda geçmişten bugüne yeni sanatsal yaklaşımları içeren sergilerin gençlik ile ilişkisini kurmayı hedeflemiştir. Sanatçıların gençlik dönemlerinde sanat ortamına katılım biçimleri irdelenmeye çalışılmış, sanatta gençlik olgusunun neden yeniyle özdeşleştirildiği araştırılmış, gençlik olgusunun sanat ortamındaki değişken yeri, sanat kurumlarının yeni sanatçı kuşaklarının ortaya çıkmasındaki etkisi ve önemi sorgulanmıştır. Bu olgular kendi kişisel üretimimin bu olgular özelinde irdelenmiştir.

Since the 1970s, an emphasis on the young generation in the modernization process of the Turkish artistic environment is observed and thus, the young generation is related to a tendency with new artistic movements. This research aims to study the phenomenon of young artists in the Turkish contemporary artistic environment, utilizing the relation of young artists with exhibitions that consist of new artistic approaches throughout the time. In this study, artists' way of joining in the artistic environment in their youth is scrutinized, why the concept of youth in arts is identified with new approaches, the varying position of the concept of youth in the artistic environment, the effect and importance of the artistic institutions in the generation of young artists are studied. These facts are scrutinized with my own artistic production.
