Uluslararası ticaret yirminci yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren hızla gelişme göstermiştir. Ticaretin serbestleşmesi ile ülkeler arasında ticaret hacmi artmıştır. Küreselleşme ve teknolojik ilerlemeler uluslararası ticaretin gelişmesini hızlandırmıştır. Küreselleşme ile birlikte yeni iş alanları da oluşmuştur. Fakat küreselleşmenin istihdamı artıracağı fikri çürütülmüştür. Öte yanda küreselleşmenin getirileri çokuluslu şirketleri eleştireler de artmıştır. Bunların üretimleri sırasında etik kurallara uymamaları, çocuk işçi çalıştırmaları, kadın emeğini sömürmeleri gibi uygulamaları sıkça eleştirilmiştir. Bunun sonucunda çeşitli kuruluşlar tarafından Davranış Kodları oluşturulmuştur. Bugün çokuluslu şirketler üretimleri sırasında bu Davranış Kodlarına uymaktadırlar. Çünkü toplumun kendilerine tepkisi büyük olmuştur. International trade, Globalization, Technological progresses, Employment, Multinational corporations, Code of conducts. INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND EMPLOYMENT ABSTRACT International trade has rapidly developed since the second half of twentieth century. With liberalization of trade the volumes of trades between countries have increased. Globalization and technological progresses have accelerated the development of international trade. By globalization also appeared new work areas. But an idea that globalization will increase the employment has been confuted. On the other hand as the results of globalization multinational corporations criticized great amount. They’ve often criticized as to during their productions they give not importance to ethical rules, employ child labor, and presume on women power. As a result of this several institutions have developed the Code of Conducts. Today, during their productions multinational corporations fit to those Codes. Because society’s reaction to them was big.
