Günümüz sanatında ses - anlatının imgeyle ilişkisi : 'Aralıklar'

Abstract

GÜNÜMÜZ SANATINDA SES – ANLATININ İMGEYLE İLİŞKİSİ: 'ARALIKLAR' Son yıllarda yaşanan ulaşım, telekomünikasyon ve bilişim teknolojilerindeki ilerlemeler, fiziksel mobilitenin küresel boyutta hız kazanmasına, daha geniş ölçekte enformasyonun daha kısa sürelerde transfer edilmesiyle küresel sermayenin daha hızlı yer değiştirmesine, buna bağlı olarak da metanın üretim, dağıtım ve tüketim faaliyetlerinde ivme kazanmasına neden olmaktadır. Böyle bir ortamda, insanoğlu zihni hiç olmadığı kadar yoğun görsellik ve ekrana maruz kalmış durumdadır. Kontrolsüz hız içinde bireyin tükenişini önlemek üzere hızlanma kültürüyle ilişkisini yeniden düzenlemek ve hayat kalitesini düşüren içinde bulunduğumuz yaşam koşulları içerisinde zaman ve uzay tüketicisi olan insana bir duraksama alanı sağlamak ve görselliği elimine etmek bu çalışmanın amaçlarını oluşturur. Bu bağlamda “Aralıklar” yapıtı, görsel elemanlar olmaksızın, sesi materyal olarak kullanır ve yapıtın tarif ettiği uzam – zaman, gerçek hayatın sürekli ve daha fazla hızlandırmaya çalıştırdığı gerçeklikten farklı bir zaman aralığı önerir. Yapıtın işitsel olması, anlamın dinleyicinin deneyimine göre oluştuğunu ve değiştiğini göstermiştir.

THE RELATIONSHIP OF AUDIO – NARRATIVE WITH IMAGE: 'INTERVALS' Advances in transportation, telecommunications and information technologies in recent years cause physical mobility to gain speed on a global scale, faster displacement of global capital with the transfer of information on a larger scale in shorter periods, and accordingly, the acceleration of production, distribution and consumption activities of commodities. In such an environment, the human mind is more exposed to visuals and screens than ever before. The aims of this study are to eliminate the visuality and to reorganize the relationship with the acceleration culture in order to prevent the exhaustion of the individual in an uncontrolled speed, and to provide a pause for the person who is a time and space consumer in the current living conditions that reduce the quality of life. In this context, the sound installation Intervals uses sound as a material, without visual elements, and the space-time that the artwork describes suggests a different time interval than the reality that real life is constantly trying to accelerate. The fact that the artwork is auditory shows that the meaning is formed according to the experience of the listener.
