İnşaat sektöründe işçi sağlığı ve güvenliğinin ekonomik ve toplumsal boyutları

Abstract

NSAAT SEKTÖRÜNDE SÇ SAGLIGI VE GÜVENLGNN EKONOMK VE TOPLUMSAL BOYUTLARI Çalısma yasamının, özellikle de insaat sektörünün hem dünyada, hem de Türkiye’de is kazaları ve meslek hastalıkları ile sürekli gündem konusu haline gelmesi, bu çalısmanın yönünü belirlemistir. Çalısmada, Türkiye’deki isçi saglıgı ve güvenligi, hukuki açıdan mercek altına alınmıs; 2001–2006 yılları arasında yasanan is kazaları incelenerek diger sektörlerle insaat sektörünün karsılastırması yapılmıstır. Ayrıca stanbul Teknik Üniversitesi nsaat Fakültesi Yapı sletmesi nın izniyle, 1970–2006 yılları arasında insaat sektöründe gerçeklesmis 954 is kazası vakasının is mahkemelerine sunulan bilirkisi raporları incelenerek birtakım sonuçlara varılmıstır. Çalısma ile genel olarak Türkiye’de isçi saglıgı ve güvenliginin gelisimine katkı sunulması amaçlanmıstır.

THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF LABORER'S HEALTH AND LABOR SAFETY IN CONSTRUCTION SECTOR Industrial accidents and occupational illnesses becoming the constant agenda both around the world and in Turkey in labor life and especially in construction sector has determined the way of this study. In the study, laborer's health and labor safety in Turkey has been observed from a legal view; construction sector has been compared with other sectors by the examination of industrial accidents between 2001 and 2006. Furthermore, by the approval of Structural Management Main Study Branch of Construction Department of Istanbul Technical University, certain conclusions have been reached by examining the reports of expert witnesses presented to labor courts about the 954 industrial accidents in construction sector between 1970 and 2006. This study is aimed to contribute to the overall development of laborer's health and labor safety in Turkey.
