Abstract
Aile kurumu, farklı disiplinlerin üzerinde yaptığı çeşitli incelemelerle anlamaya çalıştığı bir konudur. Toplumu meydana getiren insanı ve yaşayışını sözlü veya yazılı olarak, güzel ve etkili bir şekilde bütün yönleriyle yansıtan edebiyatın da araştırma konusudur. Bu çalışmada, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar’ın Mahur Beste, Sahnenin Dışındakiler, Huzur, Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitüsü ve Aydaki Kadın romanlarında aile konusu ele alınmıştır. Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar romanlarında aralarında kan bağı veya evlilik yoluyla bir bağ ve karşılıklı ilişkiler bulunan karakterlerin hayatlarına odaklanır, olumlu veya olumsuz duygu ve davranışları üstünde durur. İlişkiler ağı veya bağlantısının yanı sıra karakterlerin içinde bulunduğu psikolojik durumu önemli sayar. Bu sebeple aile, yazarın edebî eserlerinde ele alınan belli başlı konulardan biridir. Çalışma kapsamına giren edebî eserler aile içi ilişkiler, evlilik ve evlenme biçimleri, eşler arasındaki uyumsuzluk ve anlaşmazlık, ihanet, boşanma, çocuk-ebeveyn ilişkisi ve farklı işlerle görevli kimselerin ev halkının yaşayışına doğrudan veya dolaylı etkisi bakımından incelenmiştir.
The institution of the family is a subject that different disciplines have sought to understand through various investigation. Literature, which reflects human life and experience whether orally or in writing in a beautiful and effective manner, also examines the family as a theme. In this study, the theme of family is examined in Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar’s novels Mahur Beste, Sahnenin Dışındakiler, Huzur, Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitüsü and Aydaki Kadın. In his novels, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar focuses on the lives of characters connected through blood or marriage, emphasizing their positive or negative emotions and behaviors. In addition to the network of relationships, he also attaches great importance to the psychological states of his characters. For this reason, the concept of family is among the principal themes explored in the author’s literary works. The novels examined within the scope of this study have been analyzed in terms of family relationships, forms of marriage, incompatibility and conflicts between spouses, infidelity divorce, parent-child relationships, and the direct or indirect influence of individuals in various roles on the lives of household members.
