Türki̇ye’deki̇ kurumsal akademi̇k arşivler üzeri̇ne bi̇r değerlendi̇rme

Abstract

ÖZ Türkiye’de kurumsal akademik arşiv çalışmaları her geçen gün artmaktadır. Araştırma kurumları olan üniversiteler, bünyelerinde oluşturulan her türlü akademik veriyi kendi kurumsal akademik arşivlerine eklemektedirler. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’deki üniversitelerin kurumsal akademik arşivlerinin sahip oldukları politika, yönerge, kullandıkları yazılımlar, ulusal ve uluslararası platformlara üyelikleri ile ilgili durumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Aynı zamanda üniversitelerin kurumsal akademik arşiv oluşturma aşamasında özel hizmet alımı durumları incelenmiştir. Çalışmada betimleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. İlk olarak Türkiye’deki tüm üniversiteleri içeren bir veri seti Excel sayfası aracılığı ile oluşturulmuştur. Çalışma sırasında kurumsal akademik arşivlerin web sayfaları, TÜBİTAK Harman, OpenDOAR, OpenAIRE, ROARMAP sayfaları incelenmiş ve bulunan bilgiler veri havuzuna aktarılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda üniversitelerin büyük bir kısmının kurumsal akademik arşive sahip olduğu bulgusuna erişilmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada, üniversitelerin yarısından fazlasının kurumsal akademik arşiv politikaları ve yönergeleri olduğu sonucu dikkat çekmektedir. Çalışma sonucunda kurumsal akademik arşivlerle ilgili önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Universities, which are research institutions, add all kinds of academic data created within their bodies to their academic institutional repositories. This study aims to examine Turkey’s Academic Institutional Repositories according to their policies, procedures, softwares and their memberships to the national and international platforms. At the same time this study also examines the Universities according to the status of a service provider in the process of creating an academic institutional repository. In this study the descriptive method was used. A dataset in excel includes all the universities in Turkey was created as a first step. Within the study, the web pages of academic institutional repositories, harvesting pages such as TUBITAK Harman, OpenDOAR, OpenAIRE, ROARMAP were examined; and the information found was transferred to the dataset. As a result of this study, it was found that most of the universities have their own academic institutional repositories. Also in this study, it draws attention that more than half of the universities have institutional academic archive policies and procedures. As a result of the study, suggestions were made regarding academic institutional repositories. Keyword: Academic Institutional Repository, Turkey, Open Access, Universities, Institutional Repository
