Publication: Osmanlı belgeleri ışığında 1821 Rum isyanı ve buna karşı oluşan tepkiler
Abstract
Bu çalışma, komşumuz Yunanistan'ın müstakil bir devlet olarak Avrupa haritasında yer almasını sağlayan 1821 tarihli Rum isyanını konu almaktadır. Çalışmada, esas olarak 1821 Rum isyanının alt yapısını oluşturan temel problemler ile Osmanlı Devleti'nin, isyana karşı sergilediği tavır ve aldığı tedbirler incelenmiştir. Osmanlı Devleti'nin isyanı bastırma konusunda almış olduğu tedbirlerin, Avrupalılar tarafından suiistimal edildiği bilinmektedir. Bundan dolayı bu araştırmada Osmanlı Devleti'nin, isyanın en şiddetli olduğu dönemlerde bile Rum reayaya karşı gösterdiği koruyucu muamelesi gözler önüne serilmeye çalışılmıştır
This study is related with the Greek revolt that enabled our neighbouring country Greece to take place as an independent country in the European map. Basicly, the main reasons of the infrastructure of the Greek revolt in 1821 were considered and then the reaction and the measures against this revolt that the Ottoman Empire had. İt is known that the measures that the Ottoman Empire made, to depress this revolt were misused by the Europeans. Therefore in this study, even in the most violent periods of this revolt, the protecting political attitude against the Greek public of the Ottomans, was tried to bring to light.
