Bu çalışmada talepteki dalgalanmayı azaltarak tedarik sürecini düzene sokan ve böylelikle stok maliyetlerini düşüren bir model geliştirilerek öneri getirilmiştir. Model, talep yönetimi yolu ile stok kontrolü olarak adlandırılmıştır. Girdileri; pazar bölümü-müşteri sınıflandırması-ürün karması ve alış hedefi ilişkisi belirleyerek müşteri sadakati oluşturmak, çıktıları ise kısaca maliyet azalması, verimlilik ve müşteri memnuniyeti şeklinde ifade edilen bir yapıdadır. Modeldeki önermeler bir firmada uygulanmış ve stok maliyetlerinde gözlemlenen azalma üzerinden model doğrulanmıştır. The model is named as “stock control by the means of demand management”. Models inputs are; establishing a customer loyalty programme by determining a relation between market segment-customer classification, product mix and purchasing targets. Models outputs are; decrease in costs, efficiency and customer satisfaction. The proposals in the model had been applied in a firm and the model has been confirmed by the observed decrease in inventory costs.
