Çerkezköy’de ilköğretim okullarının 6-7 sınıflsrında coğrafya dersinin eğitim ve öğretimi üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

8 yıllık eğitime geçilmesiyle beraber ilköğretim okullarında tarih, coğrafya, vatandaşlık dersleri Sosyal Bilgiler adı altında tek bir kitapta toplanmıştır. Araştırmamızda, Çerkezköy'de 6. ve 7. sınıflarda Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde Coğrafya Eğitim ve Öğretiminin Özellikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma 4 ana bölümden oluşmuştur. I. Bölümde, Türk Milli Eğitiminin Genel Özellikleri ve Sosyal Bilgilerin Tarihi Gelişimi incelenmiştir. II. Bölümde, Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde coğrafya eğitimi ve cumhuriyetten itibaren coğrafya eğitiminin amaçlarındaki değişmeler incelenmiştir. Cumhuriyetten itibaren fazla bir değişiklik olmadığı görülmüştür. III. Bölümde ise, Çerkezköy'deki ilköğretim okullarında coğrafya eğitiminin genel özellikleri incelenmiştir ve sorunlar ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu özellikler üç ana başlık altında toplanmıştır. IV. Bölümde çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar ve Sosyal Bilgiler dersi kapsamında coğrafya eğitim ve öğretiminin gelişmesi açısından getirilmesi gereken bazı öneriler üzerinde durulmuştur. a)Coğrafya Eğitiminin Amaçları ve Özellikleri, b)Coğrafya Öğretim Metotları, c)Coğrafya Ders Müfredatı ve Özellikleri.By the start of the 8 years education, the courses of the History, Geography and Citizenship have been gathered under the single book which is titled as Social Knowledge. In this research, the features of the Geographical Education and Instruction of the 6. and 7. Class in Çerkezköy is investigated. This study consists of the four main chapter. In the first chapther, the main characteristic of the Turkish National Education and the historical development of the Social Knowledge is underlined. In the second chapter, the Geographical Education in the Social Knowledge Course and the changes in the main objectives of the Geographical Education since Republic is investigated. In the third chapter, the main features of the Geographical Education in the Primary Education Schools of the Çerkezköy and surrounding areas, and the general problems are pointed. In the last chapter, the resutls which are gained from this investigation and some necessary suggestions about the development of the Geographical Education and Instruction under the extent of the Social Knowledge Courses are underlined. a)The Objectives and Features of the Geographical Education. b)The Geographical Instructions Methots. c)The Cirruculum of the Geograpy Courses and Its Main Features.
