Abstract
Bilgi miktarının katlanarak arttığı günümüzde, modern eğitim ortamlarında bulunan bireyler bile hem okuldan hem de evlerinden daha kapsamlı bilgi havuzlarına yönelme ihtiyacı duymaktadırlar. Ancak yığın halindeki bu bilgiyi kullanmak az bir zaman harcayarak istenilen kaynağa ve doğru bilgiye ulaşmak için çeşitli araçlara ihtiyaç vardır. Okullarda bu hizmeti eğitim portalları vermektedir. Ancak bu sitelerin çeşitli özellikleri taşıması gerekmektedir. Değişik yazılımlar, arama motorları, iletişim fonksiyonları, çok zengin bir içerik ve kullanıcı dostu olan bir arayüz bu özelliklerin başta gelenleridir. Türkiye'de birçok okulda yaygınlaşan eğitim portalları konusunda ilk çalışmaları yapan okullar arasında Askeri Liseler de vardır. Bu alanda 2000 yılından itibaren çalışmalarını başlatan bu okullar kendi bünyelerinde kurdukları eğitim portallarını öğrenci, öğretmen, ve idarecilerin hizmetine açmış, derste ve ders dışı zamanlarda kullanıcılarına bilişim teknolojilerinin avantajlarını sunmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada Askeri Lise portalları karşılaştırılırken, örnek olarak Kuleli Askeri Lisesi portalı detaylı incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. In order to obtain the required information in a timely fashion we need certain search engines that will provide quick access to digital libraries. In schools, Educational portals serve to this end. Several important features of these portals can be stated as having a rich content, useful modules, a user-friendly interface, and different forms of communication. In Turkey, among the schools that have educational portals, Military High Schools rank high in offering the advantages of information technology to their students and personel. In this Master's thesis which includes a commentary about educational portals, the digital classrooms of Military High Schools are introduced and the portal of Kuleli Military High School is examined in detail.
