Publication: Ortaokul 7. sınıf beden eğitimi ve spor derslerinde yapılan oryantiring etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin yenilikçi düşünme eğilimlerine etkilerinin incelenmesi
Abstract
Bu araştırmada ortaokul yedinci sınıf, beden eğitimi ve spor dersinde yapılan oryantiring etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin yenilikçi düşünme eğilimlerine etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırma, karma yöntem iç içe karma desenine göre hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul İli'nin Küçükçekmece ilçesinde İkitelli Ortaokulunda öğrenim görmekte olan 30 yedinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu, uygulama öncesi ve sonrasında nicel araştırma deseni için; bu araştırmada kullanım izinleri alınmış, Deveci ve Kavak (2020) tarafından yapılan Ortaokul Öğrencilerine Yönelik Yenilikçi Düşünme Eğilimi Ölçeği, nitel araştırma deseni için; yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formaları uygulanmış ve öğrenci günlükleri kullanılmıştır. Beden eğitimi ve spor dersinde haftada 2 saat toplam 8 hafta boyunca oryantiring etkinlikleri araştırmacı tarafından çalışma grubuyla gerçekleşmiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçme araçları çalışma grubuna uygulama öncesi ve sonrasında uygulanmış, elde edilen nicel veriler SPSS 25 istatistik yazılım programında analiz edilerek, nitel veriler ise içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak yorumlanmıştır. Beden eğitimi ve spor dersinde yapılan oryantiring etkinliklerinin yenilikçi düşünme eğilimlerine etkisi, yenilikçi düşünme eğilimleri ölçeğinin alt boyutlarına ve çeşitli demografik özelliklere göre incelenmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre; nicel verilerden elde edilen bulgular yenilikçi düşünme eğilimleri ölçeği alt boyutları olan yenilikçiliğe açık olma, yenilikçi öz-yeterlilik, yenilikçi problem çözme, yenilikçi azim, yenilikçi grup liderliği eğilimlerinde yapılan ön test ve son test sonucunda son test lehine anlamlı farklılık olduğu bulunmuştur. Nitel verilerden elde edilen bulgularında bu alt boyutları destekleyici olduğu, sekiz haftalık süreçte öğrenci günlüklerinden elde edilen duygu kodunun en fazla eğlenceli ifadesiyle ilişkili yanıtın öğrenciler tarafından yanıtladığı görülmüştür. Araştırmanın sonucunda beden eğitimi ve spor dersinde yapılan oryantiring etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin yenilikçi düşünme eğilimlerine etkisinin olumlu yönde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
In this study, the effects of orienteering activities carried out in seventh grade secondary school physical education and sports classes on students' innovative thinking tendencies were examined. The research was prepared according to the mixed method nested mixed design. The study group of the research consists of 30 seventh grade students studying at İkitelli Secondary School in Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul Province in the 2022-2023 academic year. Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher as a data collection tool for the quantitative research design before and after the application; Permission to use in this research was obtained, Innovative Thinking Tendency Scale for Secondary School Students by Deveci and Kavak (2020), for the qualitative research design; Semi-structured interview forms were applied and student diaries were used. Orienteering activities were carried out by the researcher with the study group in the physical education and sports class for 2 hours a week for a total of 8 weeks. The measurement tools used in the research were applied to the study group before and after the application, the quantitative data obtained were analyzed in the SPSS 25 statistical software program, and the qualitative data were interpreted using the content analysis technique. The effect of orienteering activities carried out in physical education and sports classes on innovative thinking tendencies was examined according to the sub-dimensions of the innovative thinking tendencies scale and various demographic characteristics. According to research findings; The findings obtained from the quantitative data were finalized as a result of the pre-test and post-test on the sub-dimensions of the innovative thinking tendencies scale, being open to innovation, innovative self-efficacy, innovative problem solving, innovative perseverance, innovative group leadership. It was found that there was a significant difference in favor of the test. It was seen that the findings obtained from the qualitative data were supportive of these sub-dimensions, and that the emotion code obtained from the student diaries during the eight-week period was mostly answered by the students with the answer related to the expression fun. As a result of the research, it was concluded that orienteering activities carried out in physical education and sports classes had a positive effect on students' innovative thinking tendencies.
