Baş boyun bölgesinde schwannomalar (Olgu sunumu)

Abstract

Schwannomalar baş-boyun bölgesinin seyrek görülen benign tümörleridir. Kaynaklandıkları sinirin etrafında, aksonları iterek gelişirler. Hastanın şikayetleri, kitlenin hacmine ve yerleşimine göre değişir. Tedavisinde cer¬rahi eksizyon uygulanır. Bu çalışmada baş-boyun bölgesinin seyrek rastlanan dört adet schwannoma olgusu sunulmuştur.Schwannomas are rare benign tumors of the head and neck. They grow by ex¬panding within the nerve of origin, pushing the axons aside. Complaints de¬pend on the location and size of the tumor. Management is through surgical excision. In this study four schwannoma cases are reported.
