Abstract
MAKEDONYA BÖLGESİNDEKİ 16-22 YAŞ GRUBU ALP DİSİPLİNİ KAYAKÇILARI VE FUTBOLCULARDA PERFORMANSI ARTIRMAK İÇİN ALINAN İLAÇLAR VE BESİN TAMAMLAYICILARI ÖZET Araştırmamızda Makedonya Cumhuriyetinde yaşayan 16 ile 22 yaş grubu Alp disiplini kayakçıları ve futbolcularında sporda performans artırmak için alınan ilaç ve besin tamamlayıcıları hakkında ki bilgilerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Kalkandelen ile Üsküp bölgesinde yapılmış olan bu çalışmaya Alp disiplini kayağı ve Futbolla uğraşan sporcular katılmışlardır. Çalışmaya katılan sporcuların performans artırmak için ilaç ve besin tamamlayıcıları kullanıp kullanmadıkları ve bunlar hakkındaki bilgilerinin değerlendirmesi anket ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan sporcuların tamamı erkek olup 25'i Alp disiplini kayağı, 55'i ise futbolla uğraştıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Sporculara uygulanan anket sonucunda ankete katılan kayakçı ve futbolcuların 16 ile 22 yaş arası olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma grubu içerisinde yapılmış olan yaş değişkeni karşılaştırması sonucunda kayak grubunu oluşturan bireylerin futbolculara göre daha yaşlı bireylerden oluştuğu görülmüştür. Sporculara uygulanan ankette kayakçıların % 16'sı performansı artırmak için ilaç kullandığını, % 84'ü kullanmadığını, futbolcuların % 27.3'ü ilaç kullandığını, % 72.7'si ilaç kullanmadığını belirtirken başarıyı olumlu yönde etkileyeceğine inanılan ilaçlar kayakçılarda Anabolik steroidler %60.0, Vitaminler %36.0, Santral sinir sistemi uyarıcıları %36.0, futbolcularda ise Vitaminler %63.6, Anabolik steroidler %14.5, Santral sinir sistemi uyarıcıları %12.7, Analjezikler %1.8 olduğu görülmüştür. Bunun yanı sıra ilaç kullanımının performans üzerine etkisi olamayacağını düşünenlerin oranı kayakçılarda %20.0 iken bu oran futbolcularda %27.3'değerinde çıkmıştır. Buna göre çalışma grubunu oluşturan bireylerin çoğunluğunun sporda performans artırmak için alınan ilaç ve besin tamamlayıcılarının performansta olumlu yönde etkileri olacağı düşüncesinde oldukları görülmüştür. Kayakçılarda, ilaç kullanımının yan etkileri olabileceğini düşünenlerin oranı % 100, futbolcularda ise bu oranın % 80 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan kayakçıların % 84'ü, futbolcuların ise %20'si performansı artırmak, daha iyi antrenman yapabilmek ve beslenmelerinin daha iyi olabilmesi için herhangi bir vitamin ve mineral kombinasyonu, anabolik stereoidler ve beta andrenerjik agonist kullanımını düşünmediklerini belirtmişlerdir. Bu ilaçları kullanmayı düşünenlerin oranı ise kayakçılarda % 16, futbolcularda % 80 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan sporcuların çoğunluğunun sporda performans artırmak için alınan ilaç ve besin tamamlayıcıları hakkında ki bilgilerinin kaynağı spor dergileri olduğu görülmüştür. Our studies aimed to evaluate the knowledge on the drugs and nutritional supplements taken for performance increase in the sports by the 16-22 age group Alp discipline skiers and soccer players living in the Republic of Macedonia. Sportsman engaged in Alps discipline skiing and soccer participated at this Works conducted in Macedonia Republic, Tetovo and Skopje regions. Whether the sportsmen took drugs and additional nutrition for performance increase and evaluation of these were seeked by a public survey. All of the sportsmen participated at the Works were male where 25 of them stated that they are engaged in Alps discipline skiing and 55 in soccer. After the completion of the public survey conducted with the sportsmen it is determined that the participant skiers and soccer players were between 16 - 22 years of age. At the end of the age variable comparison made among the work group it is also observed that the individuals making up the skiing group consist of elder individuals than those of the soccer players. 16% of the skiers who participated at the public survey stated that they use drugs for performance increase where 84% stated that they do not use drugs; 27.3% of the soccer players stated that they use drugs for performance increase where 72.7% stated that they do not use drugs; the names and percentage use of the drugs among skiers were listed as follows: anabolic steroids 60.0%, Vitamins 36.0%, central nervous system stimulants 36.0% whereas the names and percentage use of the drugs among soccer players were listed as Vitamins 63.6%, Anabolic stereods 14.5%, Central nervous system stimulants 12.7% and analgesics 1.8%. The rate of those who consider drugs have no effect on performance were 20% among skiers and 27.3% among soccer players. With reference to the conducted studies it is observed that the majority of the individuals making up the work group believe that the drugs and nutritional supplements taken for performance increase in sports have positive effect in performance. 100% of the skiers thought use of drugs have side effects whereas this ratio was 80% among the soccer players. 84% of the skiers and 20% of the soccer players who participated at the public survey stated that they do not consider taking any vitamin and mineral combination, anabolic stereoids nor beta andrenerjik agoist to increase their performances, to have better trainig and to get beter nutrition. The rate of those who considered using such drugs were 16% among skiers and 80% among soccer players. The source of information concerning the drugs and nutritional supplements taken for performance increase among the majority of the sportsmen participated at the studies is observed to be the sports magazines.
