Publication: Sosyal ağ anali̇zi̇ ile COVID-19 araştırmalarında uluslararası yayınların incelenmesi̇
Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic, which emerged in the People's Republic of China in December 2019, spread globally in a short time and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. The rapid spread of the pandemic which causes death has had a great impact worldwide and has been the subject of studies in many fields. In this study, it is aimed to examine the international links in Covid-19 research. The data set of the study includes the studies made in the Web of Science database in a 29-month period. Social Network Analysis was used in the analysis. As a result of the analysis, frequent network structures were found among the authors, but this frequent structure was not seen among the author groups. It is foreseen that the dissemination of future studies over wide networks will contribute positively in terms of cooperation. and abstracts were also analyzed in the study, and the main topics, themes and methodologies used were determined. It is expected that it will be a guide for future studies. As a result of the citation analysis, the most active actors were determined, and as a result of the co-authorship analysis, the actors with intense interaction were determined. In future studies, it is anticipated that the results of citation analysis will provide insight in planning research, increasing scientific interactions and obtaining research funding, and the results of co-authorship analysis will provide insight in understanding the collaboration network and identifying collaboration opportunities with well-known authors.
