Abstract
. ÖZETHemşirelerin Mesleğine Yönelik İmaj ve Mesleğe Bağlılık AlgısıÖğrenci: Merve SARIDanışman: Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nefise BAHÇECİKAnabilim Dalı: HemşirelikAmaç: Araştırma, hemşirelerin mesleğine yönelik imaj ve mesleğe bağlılık algılarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı.Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı nitelikte olan çalışma İstanbul ilinde bulunan 10 kamu hastanesinde çalışan 327 hemşirenin katılımı ile gerçekleştirildi. Veri toplama aracı olarak tanıtıcı bilgi formu, hemşirelik mesleğine yönelik imaj ölçeği ve hemşirelikte mesleğe bağlılık ölçeği kullanıldı. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Shapiro-Wilk testi, Student’s t testi, One-Way ANOVA test, Bonferroni test, Kruskal Wallis test, Bonferroni-Dunn test, Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanıldı.Bulgular: Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 28,80±6,77 yıl olup, %91,4’ü kadın, %51,4’ü bekar, %72,1’i lisans mezunu, %47,7’si 1-3 yıl mesleki deneyime sahiptir. Hemşirelik mesleğine yönelik imaj ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 145,86±9,52, hemşirelikte mesleğe bağlılık ölçeği toplam ve çaba gösterme istekliliği, meslek üyeliğini sürdürme, hedef ve değerlere inanç alt boyut puan ortalamaları sırasıyla 74,19±14,02, 35,13±8,06, 23,76±5,62, 15,31±2,82 olarak bulundu. Hemşirelikte mesleğe bağlılık toplam puanları ile hemşirelik mesleğine yönelik imaj toplam puanları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki saptandı (r:0,438; p=0,001; p<0,01).Sonuç: Hemşirelerin mesleğine yönelik imajı iyi düzeyde ve mesleğe bağlılıkları ise orta düzeyde olduğu görüldü.

Materials and Method: This descriptive study was carried out with 327 nurses working in 10 public hospitals in Istanbul. Data were collected using an introductory information form, image related to nursing profession scale and nursing professional commitment scale. Descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk test, Student’s t-test, One-Way ANOVA test, Bonferroni test, Kruskal Wallis test, Bonferroni-Dunn test, Pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. Results: Nurses had a mean age of 28.80±6.77 years, 91.4% were women, 51.4% were single, 72.1% had bachelor's degree, and 47.7% had 1-3 years of professional experience. Nurses’ total score from the image related to nursing profession scale was 145.86±9.52, and their total score from the nursing professional commitment scale and mean scores from the willingness to make an effort, maintaining membership and belief in goals and values subscales were 74.19±14.02, 35.13±8.06, 23.76±5.62, 15.31±2.82. There was a significant, positive relationship between nursing professional commitment total scores and image related to nursing profession total scores (r:0.438; p=0.001; p<0.01). Conclusion: Nurses’ image of the profession was good, and their professional commitment was moderate.
