Publication: Hastanelerde modern yönetim felsefesinin verimliliğe etkisi: Eğitim ve araştırma hastanesi uygulaması
Abstract
Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, hastanelerde doktorların bakış açısıyla modern yönetim felsefesinin verimli- liğe etkisini analiz etmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmada hastanelerde ve- rimliliğin iyileştirilmesi; modern yönetim teknikleri, yönetimin tutumu, zaman yönetimi, sağlık hizmet- lerinin finansmanı, atık yönetimi, bilgi sistemleri ve hasta tatmini boyutlarıyla sınırlandırılmıştır. Araş- tırmada veriler, hastanelerde verimlilik konusun- da yapılmış araştırmalar referans alınarak ve Türk sağlık sisteminin içinde bulunduğu mevcut koşullar dikkate alınarak hastanelerde verimlilik konusun- da anket formu oluşturulmuştur. Bulgular: Araştırma bulgularına göre yüksek moti- vasyon ve üst yöneticilerle uyumlu çalışma hastane- lerde verimliliğin iyileştirilmesinde ileri teknoloji- den yararlanma, zaman yönetimi, nitelikli personel istihdamı, katılımcı yönetim felsefesi ve etkin ma- liyet yönetiminin en önemli faktörler olduğu göz- lenmektedir. Ancak, hasta tatmini ve hizmet kali- tesinin verimliliğin iyileştirilmesine düşük düzeyde etki ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Doktorların hastanelerde verimliliğin iyi- leştirilmesine yönelik tutumları genel olarak de- ğerlendirildiğinde; modern yönetim felsefesinin uygulanmasına hem taraftar oldukları hem de ol- madıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of contemporary managerial philosophy on productivity with view point of doctors in hos- pitals. Material and Methods: Improving productivity in hospitals in the study; the attitude of management, modern management techniques, time manage- ment, financing of health care, waste manage- ment, information systems and patient satisfacti- on is limited to the size. Research data, researches about efficiency in hospitals reference and taking into account the current situation of the Turkish healthcare system hospitals created a survey form about efficiency. Results: The findings of the research indicate that the use of advanced technology, time manage- ment, the employment of well-qualified staff, de- mocratic managerial philosophy and effective cost management have high effect on improvement of productivity. But patient satisfaction and the qua- lity of service are found to have low effect on imp- roving of productivity. Conclusion: When attitudes of doctors concerning improvement of productivity generally are taken into consideration; it can be stated that they both favour and do not favour the implementation of contemporary managerial philosophy.
