Abstract
M.Ü. İLAHİYAT FAKÜLTESİ DİN SOSYOLOJİSİ MONOGRAFİSİ Din Sosyolojisi alanındaki gelişmelerin yakından takip edilebilmesi, mevcut durumun ortaya konulmasını gerektirmektedir. Bu bağlamda tezimizin konusunu Marmara Üniversitesi'nde Din Sosyolojisi öğretimi ve bu alanda yapılan çalışmalar oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmamız yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın konusu, seçimi, amacı, sınırları ve metodunun ifade edildiği birinci bölümünün ardından, Türkiye'de Din Sosyolojisi'nin Tarihçesi başlıklı ikinci bölüm ele alınmıştır. Türkiye'ye 1900'lü yıllarda giren, 1914'te üniversitede bir kürsüye kavuşturulan Sosyoloji, varlığını büyük ölçüde üniversitelerde ders olarak okutulmasına borçludur. Sosyologların büyük çoğunluğu ise üniversite öğretim üyeleri ve yardımcılarıyla sınırlıdır. Marmara Üniversitesi'nin Tarihçesi başlıklı üçüncü bölümde, öncelikle fakülte tarihçesi verilerek, birimleri tanıtılmış, fakültenin öğretim üyeleri bağlı bulundukları bilim dallarına göre sıralanmıştır. Daha sonra fakülte öğrencileri hakkında cinsiyetleri, yaşları ve mezun oluş tarihleri ile ilgili olarak istatistiki bilgiler verilmiştir. Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi'nde Sosyoloji ve Din Sosyolojisi Eğitimi başlıklı dördüncü bölümde, lisans programlarına göre ders dağılımları verilerek, Sosyoloji ve Din Sosyolojisi alanındaki derslerin durumu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış, öğrencilerle yapılan mülakatlar değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca yüksek lisans ve doktora düzeyindeki Sosyoloji ve Din Sosyolojisi eğitimi incelenmiş, bu alanda görülen dersler hakkında bilgi verilmiş, yüksek lisans ve doktora mülakatları değerlendirilmiştir. Marmara Üniversitesi İlâhiyat Fakültesi Din Sosyolojisi nda Eğitim Faaliyetleri başlıklı beşinci bölümde, bu alana bağlı öğretim üyeleri tanıtılmış, yayın faaliyetleri, verdikleri dersler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Buna ilave olarak Din Sosyolojisi alanında yapılan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleri tanıtılmış, öğretim üyeleri ile yapılan mülakatlarla birlikte yorumu ele alınmıştır. Türkiye'de Bazı İlâhiyat Fakültelerinin Din Sosyolojisi nda Eğitim Faaliyetleri başlıklı altıncı bölümde ise, Türkiye genelinde 25 İlâhiyat Fakültesine gönderilen mülakat formlarından, az sayıda elimize ulaşanlar değerlendirilmiş, öğretim üyeleri, yayın faaliyetleri, verdikleri dersler hakkında bilgi verilmiş, Din Sosyolojisi alanında yapılan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleri belirtilmiş öğretim üyeleri ile yapılan mülakatlar ele alınmıştır. Türkiye'de son on yıllık dönemde Din Sosyolojisi alanında olumlu gelişmeler olmuştur. Bu gelişmelere paralel olarak Marmara Üniversitesi İlâhiyat Fakültesi Din Sosyolojisi alanında da aynı gelişmeyi gözlemlemekteyiz. Din Sosyolojisi alanında önemli bir yayın faaliyetinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan mülakatlar sonucunda bütün öğretim üyelerinin ortak tespiti; Din Sosyolojisi, çağın yükselen değerleri arasındadır ve her geçen gün önemi artmaktadır. Ancak bütün bu gelişmeler Din Sosyolojisi adına ümit verici olmakla beraber, yeterli değildir.
To be able to follow closely the developments in the field of Sociology of Religion requires describing the present situation. For this reason the topic of our thesis consists of the teaching of Sociology of Religion in the University of Marmara and the studies done in this field. Our study consists of seven parts; one introduction, five developments, an done conclusion. After the introduction paragraph which describes our study's topic, choosing, aim, limits and method; it is considered that the first part titled The History of Sociology of Religion in Turkey İntroduced in 1900's and had a specific department in 1914 among other fields, sociology depends mostly on being thought as a main course in the universities. Most of the sociologists are limited with the university instructors and their assistants. İn the second part, titled The History of University of Marmara, firstly, the history of faculty is told, then the parts of it is described and instructors are ordered according to the departments they study in. After that statistical information about the students of faculty and their sex, age and the dates of graduation are explained. İn the third part titled The Sociology in the Teology Faculty of Marmara University and the Education of Sociology of Religion, the courses are described according to the bachelor's degree program, then it is tried to been explained the situation of courses in the field of sociology and religion and religion of sociology and lastly, the interviews made with the students are appraised. Additionally, Sociology and Sociology of Religion in the level of bachelor's degree and doctorate is examined, same information is given about the courses studied in that field and interviews of bachelor's degree and doctorate are appraised. İn the fourth part, titled The Education Studies in Marmara University Teology Faculty, Sociology of Religion Department the instructors are introduced studies in that field, same information are given about their publication studies and the courses they study. As an addition to this, the bachelor's degrees and doctorate thesises, studied in the field of Sociology of Religion, are introduced. İn the fifth part, titled The Education Activities in the Department of Sociology of Religion of Some Universities in Turkey a small number of documents, that we could get among the documents that are sent to 25 Teology Faculty all over the Turkey, are examined, same information about instructors, puclication activities and their courses, Bachelor's degree and doctorate done in the field of Sociology of Religion are stated, and interviews made with the instructor are examined. There have been some developments in Turkey in the field of Sociology of Religion in the period of last ten years. Paralled with those developments, we see same positive changes in Marmara University Teology Faculty The Department of Sociology of Religion. İt's established that there is an important publication activities in the field of Sociology of Religion. As a result of the interviews, common idea of all instructors is: Sociology of Religion is among the developing values of our century and it's being more and more important day by day, but although all these developments are hopeful for Sociology of Religion, they are not enough.
