Publication: Mahir İz hayatı, eserleri ve tasavvufi görüşleri
Abstract
Tasavvufun pratik yönü, tasavvufî müesseseler ve tarikatler tarafından temsil edilirken doktrinel boyut ise sûfînin tecrübesinden hareketle oluşturulmuştur. Günümüze kadar pek çok araştırmacı da bu literatürü anlamaya; tasavvuf sahasının tarihi gelişimini kaleme almaya çalışmışlardır. Mâhir İz Hoca bu araştırmacılardan birisidir. İstanbul Yüksek İslâm Enstitüsünde Tasavvuf Tarihi dersini okutarak talebelerine faydalı olduğu gibi telif ettiği Tasavvuf adlı eseri ve pek çok makalesiyle de literatüre katkıda bulunmuştur. Mâhir İz Hocayı konu alan tezimiz giriş, dört bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş Bölümünde Mâhir Hoca'nın ve yaptığı hizmetlerin daha iyi anlaşılması için yaşadığı dönem ele alınmıştır. Hoca'nın hayatına ayrılmıştır. Doğumu, yetişmesi, tahsili, hizmet hayatı, son zamanları ve vefatı konuları bu bölümde incelenmiştir. İkinci Bölümde Mâhir İz'in şahsiyeti ve tesiri incelenmiştir. Burada onun ahlâkına, ilmî ve edebî kimliğine yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü Bölüm, Mâhir Hoca'nın elimizde mevcut kitaplarının tanıtımına, neşredilmemiş eserlerine ve sadeleştirmelerine ayrılmıştır. Aynı zamanda Hoca'nın ulaşabildiğimiz şiirlerine de bu bölümde yer verilmiştir. Muhtelif gazete ve mecmualarda neşredilen makalelerinin künyelerine yine burada yer verilmiştir. Dördüncü Bölümde ise Mâhir İz'in tezimize konu teşkil etmesini sağlayan yönüne yani Tasavvufî Görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. İlk olarak Tasavvufla ilgisinin oluşması ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra tasavvufla ilgili görüşlerine yer verilerek Hoca'nın tarikat anlayışı, vahdet-i vücûdla ilgili değerlendirmeleri, bazı tasavvuf kavramlarının yorumlanması mevcut eserleri ve makalelerinden hareketle incelenmiştir. Sonuçta ise çalışma ile ilgili ulaşılan bilgilerin genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.
Mahiz Iz: his life, works and views on Sufism While the pratical side of Sufism has been represented by Tarikats and sufi institutions, the theorical side consists of the Sufi's experience. Up to our days a lot of researchers have tried to understand the sufi literature and to wrihte about the history of Sufism. Mahir İz is one of those researchers. He has been teaching Sufism in The High Islamic Institute in İstanbul being useful to the students, as at the same time has contributed to the literature writing a lot fo essays and his book about Sufism. Our theses, which topic is Mahir Iz, consists of a preface and four parts. In the preface the period of Mahir Iz has been studied in order to understand better Mahir Iz and his achievments. The first part talks about the life of Mahir Iz, about his education, services, his last period and his death. The second part studies the personality of Mahir Iz and his influence. It talks about his moral, knowledğe ana literatury skills. The third part studies the existing works of Mahir is containing also the non printed ones. In this part we also have mentioned the poems of Mahir Iz, as we have mentioned the names of the essays published in different newspapers and magazines. The fourth part studies fist his aquaintance wih Sufism and after that his views on Sufism, his understanding of tarikat, the oneness of existence ana his interpretations of some sufi terms on the basis of his works. At the end as a result of all these studies a general review has been made.
