Abstract
Biz bu çalışmamızda dînî mûsikî bestekarlarımızdan Hüseyin Sebilci ismiyle maruf Hüseyin Okurlar'ın hayatını ve dinî bestelerini inceledik Hüseyin Sebilci , 1894 yılında İstanbul Fatih'te, Sultan Selim Mahallesi'nde dünyaya gelmiştir. Annesinin ismi Âmine babasının ismi İhsan'dır. Amcası İzzet Efendi'den ve Şeyh Cemal Efendi'den dinî mûsikî, Selanikli Ahmet Bey'den lâdinî mûsikî meşketti. 1950 yılına kadar yirmibeş yıl hanendelik yapmış, bundan sonra hanendeliği bırakarak hayatının geri kalan kısmında sadece zâkirlik ve mevlidhanlıkla meşgul olmuştur. Mazhar ve Saadettin adında iki erkek kardeşi vardır. Hanımının ismi Memnûne'dir. Topkapı'da evlendiği Memnûne Hanım'dan Şemsettin, Zeki, Fatma isimli üç çocuğu olmuştur. Hüseyin Sebilci 27 Ağustos 1975 akşamı vefat etmiştir. Sebilci'nin cenazesi 29 Ağustos 1975 Cuma günü Üsküdar'da Yeni Cami'de öğle namazını müteakip kaldırılarak Karacaahmet Mezarlığı'na defnedilmiştir. Çalışmamızda araştırmamız gereken bir başka konu ise bestekarın dînî besteleri idi.Bu çalışmada kırkbir eser tesbit edilmiştir. Kişiliği ve bestelerinin özellikleri hakkında elde ettiğimiz bilgileri ve bu bilgilere dayanarak oluşan düşüncelerimizi ayrıca belirttik. Eserlerinin listesini makamlara göre ve eserlerinin alfabetik sırasına göre iki ayrı şekilde listeledik. Çalışmamızın giriş bölümünde ise XX.Yüzyıl dinî mûsikî bestekarlarına ağırlık verilerek genel bir kronolojik değerlendirme yapılmıştır. THESİS

Yrd.Doç.Dr.Nuri ÖZCAN In this work, we examined the life and the religious compositions of Hüseyin Okurlar who known Hüseyin Sebilci one of our religiuos compozer. Hüseyin Sebilci was born in Faith in İstanbul in 1894. His mother's name was Amine and father's was ihsan. He practiced religious music with his uncle İzzet Efendi and Mr.Şeyh Cemal. He also practiced unreligious music with Mr.Ahmet from Selanik.He worked as a hanende twenty-five years untill 1950.After than he worked only as a zakir and mevlidhan rest of his life. He had two brothers called Mazhar and Saadettin. His wife's name was Memnune.He had three children called Şemsettin, Zeki, Fatma from Mrs Memnune which they married at Topkapı. Hüseyin Sebilci died at evening at 27 Augst in 1975. Sebilci's funeral was made at noon on Friday at Üsküdar New Mosque at 29 August in 1975. His death was burried in Karacaahmet Graveyard. In our work, the other subject that we must research was religious compositions of the compozer. Fourty-one compositions was found in this work. We explained the informations that we found about his persoanilty and special features of compositions. We also wrote our ideas based on these informations. We put on the list the compositions according to starting tone and alpabetical At the entrance part of our work, we concentrated on XX .
