Abstract
ÖZETTÜRKİYE’DE VELİLERİN DİN KÜLTÜRÜ VE AHLAK BİLGİSİ DERSİNDENBEKLENTİLERİ, DERSE DAİR ELEŞTİRİLERİ VE ÖNERİLERİ( 12.SINIF İSTANBUL ÖRNEĞİ)Türkiye’de anayasanın 24. maddesi gereği din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi ( DKAB)dersi ilk ve orta kademeli okullarda zorunlu olarak okutulmaktadır. Uzun ve sancılı birsürecin sonunda mevcut konumunu alan dersin, zorunlu hale getirildiği 1982 yılındangünümüze derslerin bu konumu bazı kesimler tarafından çeşitli açılardan eleştirilmiştir.Bu çalışma, bahsi geçen eleştiri ve tartışmalardan hareketle, toplumun önemli birçoğunluğunu oluşturan ebeveynler; yani bu dersi hem kendileri okumuş, hem deçocukları bu dersi okuyan velilerin, DKAB dersi hakkında değerlendirmelerini konuedinmektedir. Bu tez sayesinde öğrenci velilerinin ders hakkındaki görüşü, eleştirilerive dersten beklentileri akademik bir saha çalışmasıyla tespit edilmek istenmiştir. Bubağlamda İstanbul ilindeki üç ilçe olan Sancaktepe, Ümraniye ve Kadıköy’deki üçlisede ( Sancaktepe Anadolu Lisesi, Asiye Ağaoğlu Anadolu Lisesi, Mustafa SaffetAnadolu Lisesi) lise son sınıf öğrenci velileri çalışma grubu olarak belirlenmiş, mülakatyöntemi kullanılarak çalışma grubunun ders üzerindeki güncel tartışmalar hakkındagörüşü alınmıştır.Çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. olan Giriş’te, çalışmanınproblemi yöntemi gibi genel bilgilere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Türkiye’de genelöğretim içinde din derslerinin serüveni kısaca anlatılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde DKABdersi hakkındaki güncel tartışmalara yer verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde araştırmabulgularına, ikinci ve üçüncü bölümdeki bilgiler ışığında bu bulguların yorumlanmasınayer verilmiştir. Son bölüm olan beşinci bölümde ise çalışmanın sonuçlarına ve busonuçlar doğrultusunda çeşitli önerilere yer verilmiştir.Ahlak Bilgisi Dersleri, Din Eğitimi,Zorunlu Din Dersleri
ABSTRACTTHE EXPECTATİONS CRİTİCİSMS AND SUGGESTİONS OF PARENTSFROM RELİGİOUS CULTURE AND KNOWLEDGE OF ETHİCS İN TURKEY(12TH GRADE İSTANBUL PROVINCE EXAMPLE)Pursuant to article 24 of the constitution's religious culture and ethics in Turkey(religious education) courses are taught as compulsory in primary and middle schools.The course, which took its current position at the end of a long and painful process, hasbeen criticized from various perspectives by some groups since 1982 when it was madecompulsory.This study, based on the criticisms and discussions mentioned above,constitutes a significant majority of the society; that is, both the parents who have readthis course themselves and their children are evaluating the DKAB course.Thanks to this thesis, the views, critics and expectations of the students aboutthe course were determined by an academic field study. In this context, the study groupof the parents of high school students were determined in three high schools(Sancaktepe Anatolian High School, Asiye Ağaoğlu Anatolian High School, MustafaSaffet Anatolian High School) in Sancaktepe, Ümraniye and Kadıköy.Using the interview method, the opinions of the working group about thecurrent discussions on the course were obtained.The study consists of five chapters. In the first chapter Introduction, generalinformation such as the problem method of the study is given. In the second part of theadventure of religious instruction in general education in Turkey it was discussedbriefly. In the third part, current discussions about DKAB course are given. In the fourthsection, the findings of the research and the interpretation of these findings in the lightof the information in the second and third sections are given. In the last section, the fifthvsection, the results of the study and various suggestions are given in line with theseresults.Key words: Education of Religion, Religious culture and ethics courses,Compulsory religion courses.
