Abstract
İletişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi, iletişimin çok daha kolay ve hızlı olması sosyal ağların oluşmasını sağlayan önemli faktörlerdendir. Kendini açan kişi zaman ve yere göre kendisi ile ilgili uygun gördüğü bilgileri yine uygun gördüğü kişilere aktarmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, sanal topluluklarda kişilerin kendilerini ne derecede açtıkları değerlendirilmiştir. Başka bir ifadeyle kendini açmanın sanal alanlarda nasıl şekillendiğine bakılarak, kadınlar kulübü forum sitesinde kişilerin kendini konulara göre nasıl tanımladığı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklem çeşidi olarak ölçüt örneklem, veri analizi yöntemi olarak ise betimsel içerik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre sanal forum sohbet alanlarında kendini açmanın birçok konu üzerinde etkili olduğu görülmüştür. Kişilerin bir araya gelerek görüş alışverişinde bulundukları, sohbet ettikleri, sanal veya yüz yüze ilişkiler kurup yaşadıkları alanlar olarak sanal alanlar ele alındığı için, kendini açma kavramına uygun sunumlar gerçekleştirildiği öne sürülmüştür. Yapılan gözlem sonucu kendini açmanın konulara göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. The development of the communication technology and the easier and faster communication are the important factors for the formation of the social Networks. A person who discloses himself transfers the appropriate information about himself to the appropriate people he finds, according to the time and place. In the study, to what extent people in virtual communities disclose themselves is evaluated. In other words, how people define themselves according to the subject areas in women’s club forum site are tried to be put forth by examining how the self-disclosure takes form in virtual areas. In this research, qualitive research method has been used. Criterion sampling, as a kind of sample and also descriptive content analysis method as a method of data analysis have been used. According to the resarch datas, it is observed that self-disclosure has an influence on variety of issues in chat areas of the virtual forums. Since the virtual areas in which people coming together and exchanging their ideas, having virtual or face to face raltions are taken into consideration, it is claimed that the presentations are performed according to the concept of self-disclosure. As a result of the observations made, it is observed that the self-disclosure differs significantly according to the subject areas.
