İşletmelerin sürdürülebilirlik stratejileri ile sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri ve lojistik performansı arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesine yönelik bir alan araştırması

Abstract

Sürdürülebilirlik kavramı, çevresel tahribatın önlenmemesi durumunda doğal kaynakların yok olacağı görüşünün kabul görmeye başlaması ve ekonomik kalkınma çabalarının çevre üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerinin global bir problem haline gelmesi sonucunda 1970’li yıllardan itibaren en çok tartışılan konulardan biri olmuştur. İşletmelerin kâr hedeflerinin tek başına yeterli olmadığı, toplumsal ve ekolojik meselelerin de kurumsal sorumluluk haline geldiği küresel bir dönüşüm başlamıştır. Bu bağlamda sürdürülebilirlik, işletmelerin strateji ve operasyonlarının ayrılmaz bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada; işletmelerin sürdürülebilirlik stratejileri ile sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri ve lojistik performansı konuları incelenecektir. Çalışmanın amacı; bu konular arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığının incelenerek yeşil yaklaşımın ve sürdürülebilirliğin önemini vurgulamaktır. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Veriler; araştırmanın evreni olan İstanbul, Kocaeli ve Ankara illerinde belirlenen lojistik şirketlerinde çalışan üst ve orta düzey yöneticiler ve diğer şirket çalışanları ile gerçekleştirilen anket yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi SPSS 24.0 ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, ölçeklerin yapı geçerliğini belirlemek için Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi kullanılmış, güvenirlik düzeyini belirlemek için Cronbach’s Alfa katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Ardından ölçek puanları hesaplanarak puanların normal dağılıma uygunluğunu tespit etmek için basıklık ve çarpıklık katsayıları değerlendirilmiştir. Değişkenlerin tanımlayıcı istatistikleri yapılmış, önermeler arasındaki ilişki seviyesini tespit etmek amacı ile korelasyon ve regresyon testleri kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre; yeşil tedarik zinciri uygulamaları ile tedarik zincirinin sürdürülebilirlik performansı, işletmenin çevresel sürdürülebilirlik performansı ve lojistik performansı, sürdürülebilirlik stratejileri ile tedarik zincirinin sürdürülebilirlik performansı ve lojistik performansı arasında pozitif yönlü ve istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir ilişki vardır. Kurulan regresyon modeline göre, sürdürülebilirlik stratejilerinin ve yeşil tedarik zinciri uygulamalarının lojistik performansı üzerindeki etkisi istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır. Buna göre sürdürülebilirlik stratejilerinin ve yeşil tedarik zinciri uygulamalarının iyileşmesi lojistik performansını artırmaktadır.

Sustainability, as a concept, has been one of the most talked about topics since the 1970s, as the view, that natural resources will disappear if environmental destruction is not prevented and the negative effects of economic development efforts on the environment have become a global problem. A global transformation has begun, in which the profit targets of businesses are not sufficient alone and social and environmental issues have become corporate responsibility. In this context, sustainability has grown into an inseparable part of the strategy and operations of businesses. In this study; logistics performance, sustainability strategies of businesses, sustainable supply chain issues and their relationship will be studied. The purpose of this study is to highlight the significance of green approach and sustainability by studying the relationship between these issues. As a data collection tool, survey method was fulfilled. Data acquisition was done by conducting the survey to the top and middle executives and other personnels of the logistics firms, determinated in the provinces of Istanbul, Kocaeli and Ankara, which are the universe of the research. Data analysis was done with SPSS 24.0. In the study in order to detect the construct validity of the scales, Exploratory Factor Analysis was used and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated for the level of reliability. Afterwards, the scale scores were analyzed, thereafter in order to specify the suitability of the points to the normal dispersion, kurtosis and skewness coefficients were analyzed. Descriptive statistics of variables were made, correlation and regression tests were made to determine the level of relationship between the propositions. According to the results of the analysis, there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between green supply chain practices and the supply chain sustainability performance, environmental sustainability performance and logistics performance of companies, sustainability strategies and the supply chain sustainability performance and v logistics performance. According to the regression model, the effect of sustainability strategies and green supply chain practices on logistics performance is statistically significant. Accordingly, the improvement of sustainable strategies and green supply chain practices increase logistics performance.
