Abstract
“Muhammed Abduh’ta Selefi Eğilimler” başlıklı tezimde, 19. yüzyıl İslam dünyasında geniş toplulukları yönlendirecek fikirleri ve faaliyetleriyle öne çıkan Muhammed Abduh’un Müslümanları içinde bulundukları kötü durumdan kurtarmak için bulduğu çözüm yollarından biri olan selefe dönme formülünü inceledim. Muhammed Abduh’un hayatı, eserleri ve genel olarak görüşlerini de konunun daha iyi anlaşılması için bir bölüm halinde ele aldım. Selefin kelime olarak ne olduğundan başlayarak, tarihsel süreçte hangi dönemlerden geçtiği, hangi şahıslar tarafından temsil edilip günümüze ne şekilde ulaştığı gibi konulara da sonuca ulaştıracak bilgiler içermesi sebebiyle tezde yer verdim. Tezin son bölümünde ise, öncelikle Muhammed Abduh hakkında yapılan selefi, modernist ve reformist tanımlamalarının sebepleri ve Abduh için uygun olup olmadığını kendi görüşlerinden ve onun yakın çevresi tarafından yazılmış olan biyografisinden yola çıkarak irdelemeye çalıştım. Daha sonra Abduh’un kendi için daha çok tercih ettiği ve asıl kaynaklara yani Kur’an ve Sünnete yönelerek sonradan ortaya atılan batıl inançlardan dini arındırmayı esas alan selefi özelliklerini ele almaya çalıştım. Bu bağlamda Abduh’un daha çok itikadi konularda selefin görüşlerini tekrar etmekle birlikte toplumsal ve ibadetle ilgili konularda yenilikçi bir tavır takındığı sonucuna ulaştım.
In this thesis, titled “Salafi Inclinations of Muhammad Abduh” I examined Muhammad Abduh’s thought about salvation of Muslim Society and his idea of returning to Salaf. In this point, I dealt with life and works and general ideas of Muhammad Abduh whose thoughts effected to Muslim Societies in nineteenth century. Begining from concept of Salaf I analyzed ıts historical terms and ıts older founders and present followers, since these knowladges are important to understand topic. I researched conceptions about Muhammad Abduh, for exaple “Reformist” and “Modernist” and “Conservative”, and their reasons and relavancy of Abduh to these conceptions. In this process I took advantage of ideas from other thinkers. Then I examined thoughts of Abduh abaut returning to essence resources, Quran and Sunnah. I reached out that Abduh has a inclination of salaf in faithful topics.
