Publication: Türkiye’de cumhuriyet döneminde kırmızı et sektörünün gelişimi
Abstract
Dünya nüfusu arttıkça bitkisel ve hayvansal gıda maddelerinin önemi gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Türkiye’de Cumhuriyet döneminden günümüze tarım sektörü içerisinde daha ziyade bitkisel üretime önem verilmiş ancak hayvancılık sektörüne yeteri kadar önem verilmemiştir. Dengeli beslenmede tüketilen gıdaların %42’sini hayvansal gıdaların oluşturması gerekmektedir. Ülkemizde kırmızı et fiyatlarının yüksekliği tüketicilerin kırmızı et tüketimlerini olumsuz etkilemektedir. Hayvancılık sektöründe yaşanan sorunlar, kırmızı et sektörünü, yem sanayisini, hayvancılıkla uğraşan besiciyi etkilemekte ve dolayısıyla ülke ekonomisi bu sorunlardan olumsuz etkilenmektedir. Bu çalışmada, birinci bölümünde 1923’den günümüze tarım sektörü, ikinci bölümde ise hayvancılık sektörü incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde kırmızı et sektöründe üretim, tüketim, ithalat ve ihracat verileri irdelenmiştir. Türkiye’nin Avrupa Birliği ve Dünya ile kırmızı et sektöründeki durumu karşılaştırmalı olarak ortaya konulmuştur.
As the world population increases, the importance of vegetable and animal food products are increasing daily. During the Turkish republic the most attention has been given to the agricultural sector. However, not enough attention has been given to the red meat and livestock industry.In a balanced diet, 42% of our food should be composed of animal products. High red meat prices have had a negative impact on the consumers. The issues that affect the livestock industry also influence the red meat sector, animal farming, and animal feed. Therefore, due to these issues the national economy is negatively affected. The first part of this research analyses agriculture, and the second part looks into the livestock industry from 1923 until now. The third part analyses the importance of red meat industry; production, consumption, import and exports. This research paper compares the red meat industry situation between Turkey, European Union and the world.
