Tek parti döneminde edebî eserlerde Cumhuriyetin ‘’yeni insan’’ imgeleri ( 1931-1939)

Abstract

Türkiye’de Tek Parti döneminin 1931-1939 yılları her zaman merak edilerek incelenmiş ve farklı yönlerden bu döneme ışık tutulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada da Tek Parti Döneminin 1931-1939 yılları arasında, inşa etmek istediği ‘’Cumhuriyet İnsanının’’ inşa edilmesinde edebî eserlerin kullanımı ve rolü ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Dönemin gazeteleri, dergileri, okul kitapları ve fikir eserleri incelendiğinde 1931-1939 yılları arasında ortak görüşe varılarak inşa edilmek istenen bir ‘’Cumhuriyet İnsanı’’ profilinin olduğu ve bu profilin dönemin yayınlarında benzer özelliklerle anlatıldığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, döneminde yaygın olarak özellikleri anlatılan Cumhuriyet insanı profilinin edebî eserlerde nasıl anlatıldığı ve edebiyatın bu amaç için nasıl kullanıldığı, dönemin gazeteleri, dergileri, okul kitapları ve fikir eserlerinde anlatılan Cumhuriyet insanı ile edebî eserlerde anlatılan Cumhuriyet insanı profili arasındaki benzerlikler ve farklılıklar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın içeriğinde Kemalizm ideolojisinin inşa edilme süreci, Cumhuriyet insanının istenen özellikleri ve bu özelliklerin dönemin edebî eserlerinde nasıl aktarıldığına değinilmiştir.

The years 1931-1939 of the Single Party Period in Turkey have always been examined with curiosity and an attempt has been made to shed light on this period from different aspects. In this study, the use and role of literary works in the construction of the Republican Man that the Single Party Period wanted to build between 1931-1939 was tried to be revealed. When the newspapers, magazines, school books and intellectual works of the period are analyzed, it is seen that there is a profile of the Republican Person to be constructed by reaching a common opinion between 1931 and 1939 and that this profile is described with similar characteristics in the publications of the period. In this study, it is tried to determine how the profile of the Republican people, whose characteristics were widely described in the period, was described in literary works and how literature was used for this purpose, and the similarities and differences between the Republican people described in the newspapers, magazines, school books and intellectual works of the period and the profile of the Republican people described in literary works. In the study, the establishment of the Single Party Power, the process of constructing the ideology of Kemalism, the desired characteristics of the Republican people and how these characteristics were conveyed in the literary works of the period were mentioned.
