Publication: Teknolojinin haber metnine etkisi : Haberoyun/ newsgaming kavramı üzerine bir araştırma
Abstract
Teknolojinin gelişmesi gündelik yaşantımıza doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak etki etmektedir. Teknoloji sosyal çevremizden satın alma faaliyetlerine kadar hemen hemen her alanda belirleyici konumundadır. İletişim süreci de teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte şekillenen alanlardan biri olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. 21. yüzyılın başlarında yaygınlaşmasıyla yaşantımıza dahil olan internetin, iletişim mecrasına da dahil olmasıyla yeni medya kavramı ortaya çıkmış ve geleneksel medyanın yanında söz sahibi olmaya başlamıştır. İletişim teknolojilerinde yaşanan bu gelişme gazetecilik anlayışında da değişmelere neden olmuştur. Bu değişmelere bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan online (çevrimiçi) gazetecilik, yeni içerik formatlarının ortaya çıktığı bir alan olarak karşımıza çıkmıştır. Bu alanda yayınlanan haberler sosyal medya, video aplikasyonları ve video oyunları gibi dijital araçlardan etkilenmiştir. Bu etkilenme çevrimiçi mecrada toplumun okuma alışkanlıklarının değişmesine neden olmuştur. Ayrıca toplumun değişen okuma alışkanlığını da günümüz dijital dönüşüm mekanizmaları bağlamında açıklamak önem kazanmıştır. Çalışmada dünya literatürüne adını yeni duyuran “haberoyun” kavramı ele alınacaktır. Online gazetecilikte yeni bir format olan haberoyun kavramına yönelik bakış açıları araştırma sorularıyla irdelenecektir. Çalışmada nitel bir araştırma yöntemi olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada katılımcılar, internet üzerinden haber okuyan ve/ veya internet gazeteciliği yapan kişiler arasından seçilmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formatında bazı soruların cevapları kısa ve net olurken bazı sorularda da derinlemesine cevap aranmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuç kısmında haberoyun kavramının haber üretim süreçlerini ne ölçüde etkilediği katılımcıların görüşme sorularına verdiği cevaplar ışığında tartışılacak, çalışmanın sonucunda yapılan incelemelerde çıkan sonuçlarla ilgili yorumlar

The communication process also emerges as one of the areas shaped by the development of technology. The concept of new media has emerged with the inclusion of the internet, which has become a part of our lives with its widespread use in the early 21st century, and has begun to be effective alongside traditional media. The development in communication technologies has also caused changes in the understanding of journalism. Online journalism, which has emerged as a result of these changes, has produced new content formats. The news published in this field has been influenced by digital tools such as social media, video applications and video games. This influence has caused a change in the reading habits of the society in the online channels. In addition, it has become important to explain the changing reading habits of society in the context of today's digital transformation mechanisms. In the study, the concept of newsgame, which has just made its name in the world literature, will be discussed. Perspectives on the concept of news game, which is a new format in online journalism, will be examined with research questions. Semi-structured interview technique, which is a qualitative research method, is used in the study. The participants were selected from among people who read online news and / or work as Internet journalists. In the semi-structured interview format, while the answers to some questions were short and clear, in-depth answers were sought for some questions. In the conclusion part of the study, the extent to which the concept of newsgame affects the news production processes will be discussed in the light of the answers given by the participants to the interview questions, comments and suggestions will be made about the results of the examinations made at the end of the study.
