Abstract
Elektronik ticaret, elektronik yollarla malların ve hizmetlerin üretimi, dağıtımı, pazarlaması, satışı veya teslimatı olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bir e-ticaret işlemi işletmeler, haneler, bireyler, hükümetler ve diğer kamu ya da özel kuruluşlar arasında olabilmektedir. Elektronik ticaretin tanımı, avantajları ve dezavantajları ele alınmış ve e-ticaretin tarihsel süreci anlatılmıştır.Türkiye’deki elektronik ticaret sitelerine örnekler ve elektronik ticaret verileri ele alınmıştır. Türkiye’de e-ticaret pazar büyüklüğü ve Türkiye’de e-ticarete ilişkin istatistiki verileri ele alınmış ve detaylı incelenmiştir.Hepsiburada.com, n11.com ve epttavm.com e-ticaret sitelerinin hem bireysel olarak değerlendirilmesi hem kendi aralarında hem de uluslararası örnek bir site olarak ele alınan amazon.com e-ticaret sitesi ile karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.Yazılan bu çalışma, e-ticaret alanında faaliyet göstermek isteyen birey ve firmalar için bir rehber niteliğindedir.
