Abstract
İletişim ve ulaşım alanında yaşanan gelişmeler neticesinde, içinde yaşadığımız dünya günümüzde daha küçük hale gelmiş, ulusal sınırlar ve yerellik önemini kaybederken, dünya çapındaki gelişmeler önemli kazanmaya başlamıştır. Dünyanın herhangi bir yerinde meydana gelen olay yada gelişme, diğer ülkeleri de çabucak etkilemektedir. Küreselleşme adı verilen bu sürecin özellikle ekonomik boyutu yada başka deyişle ekonomik küreselleşme, yaşanan bu sürecin en önemli parçasıdır. Zira küreselleşme süreci en büyük etkisini, dünya çapında birbirleriyle kıyasıya yarışan işletmeler arasında göstermektedir. Sıkışan pazar payında liderliği ele geçirmek ve rakiplerin bir adım önünde yer almak gün geçtikçe daha da zorlaşmaktadır. Bunu başarabilmenin yolu, farklılığı yakalamaktan geçmektedir. Farklılığı ortaya çıkaracak olan faktör ise, işletmelerin sahip oldukları insan kaynağıdır. Yeni teknolojik buluşları işletmeye adapte etmek yada finansman imkanlarına ulaşmak önemlidir. Ancak bu kaynakları doğru ve etkin şekilde kullanacak ve geliştirecek personele sahip olmanın gerekliliği de inkar edilemez. Günümüzde eğitimli ve nitelikli personeli işletmeye çekebilmek, bunlar arasından en iyileri seçmek ve seçilen bu kişileri işletmede tutabilmek, geçmişte olmadığı kadar önemli hale gelmiştir. Bunun ön koşulu ise sistematik ve düzgün işleyen bir personel seçim sürecinin işletilmesidir.
PERSONNEL SELECTİON and IMPORTANCE FOR ORGANİZATIONS Today the world we live in became a smaller place as a result of developments in communication and arrival field, as national borders and localization losing its importance, and global developments getting more importance. An incident which happens in any part of the world, immediately affects the other countries. Especially economical dimension of this period which is called globalization or with another saying economical globalization is the most important part of this trend. Because globalization period shows its the biggest effect between the companies which compete wildly with each other all over the world. Gaining leadership in the narrowing market portion and standing a step forward the rivals, becomes harder day by day. The formula to achieve this problem is finding out the difference. The factor which will reveal the difference is the human resource which companies have. It is important to adapt new technologies to firm or finding finance resources. But as well as that, the necessity of having educated and qualified personnel who will use and develop this resourches rightly can’t be denied. So it is too important to appeallig, selecting and keeping educated and qualified personnel in the organisation today, as it has never been before. The first rule to success this problem is to imply a systemical and right working personnel selection process.
