Abstract
I. Dünya Savaşı sırasında 27 Mayıs 1915 tarihinde çıkarılan tehcir kanunu sadece Ermenilere uygulanmamıştır. Osmanlı Devletinde yaşayan her etnik grub gerektiğinde tehcir edilmiştir. Bu makalenin konusu literatürde çok az yer alan Arap tehciridir. Savaş koşullan sebebiyle Suriye ve Medine'den çıkarılarak Anadolu ve Rumeli'ye geçici olarak iskân edilen Arapların durumu ve Mondros Mütarekesi sonrası eski yurtlarına geri dönüşleri arşiv belgelerine dayanarak incelenmiştir.
The deportation law put into force on May 27, 1915 during the World War I not only applied to the Armenians but also other ethnic groups. The Ottoman State applied deportation law to any ethnical groups when needed. This article aimed at the Arab deportation which has rarely been mentioned in literature. The situtation of Arabs who were removed from Syria and Medina and settled in Anatolia and Rumelia for a temporary period because of the war conditions, also returns of same population to their own countries after the Mondrose is investigated.
