Publication: Küreselleşmenin kadın işgücü üzerindeki etkisi
Abstract
Küreselleşme, üretim ve emek arzında güçlü bir rekabeti beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu rekabet, zaten pek çok faktöre bağlı olarak değişim gösteren kadın işgücü ve kadın istihdamı üzerinde de etkili olmuştur. Bu çalışma, küreselleşmenin kadın işgücü üzerindeki etkilerini ele almayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde çalışma, üç bölümde tamamlanmıştır. Birinci bölümde, araştırmanın temelinin oluşturulması için küreselleşmenin kavramsal çerçevesine yer verilmiştir. Burada küreselleşmenin tanımı, nedenleri, sonuçları ve küreselleşme yaklaşımları ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde, küreselleşmenin emek piyasası üzerindeki etkileri genel bir çerçeveden açıklanmıştır. Küreselleşme ve emek piyasası ilişkisi, küreselleşmenin emek piyasasında yarattığı dönüşüm, bu dönüşümün Türkiye özelindeki görünümü ve küreselleşme sonucu sendikal örgütlenme ile mücadelede gerileme, bu bölümde ele alınan konulardır. Üçüncü bölüm, araştırmanın temel amacı çerçevesinde oluşturulmuştur. Burada kadın işgücünün kuramsal çerçevesiyle beraber güncel durumu sunulmuştur. Sonrasında dünya genelinde küreselleşmenin etkisi ve son olarak Türkiye’de kadın işgücünün küreselleşme sonucu değişimi veriler çerçevesinde açıklanmış, çalışma tamamlanmıştır.
Globalization has brought about strong competition in production and labor supply. This competition has also had an impact on the female workforce and women's employment, which have altered depending on many factors. This study aims to examine the effects of globalization on the women’s employment. For this purpose, the study is completed in three parts. In the first chapter, the conceptual structure of globalization is included to form the basis of the research. In this point, definition, causes, consequences and globalization approaches are handled. In the second chapter, the effects of globalization on the labor market are accounted from a general perspective. Globalization and the labor market relationship, transformation on labor market caused by globalization, the particular appearance on Turkey of this transformation and decline in the fight against union organization as a result of globalization are discussed in this chapter. The third part is created within the framework of the main purpose of the research. In this place, the actual situation of the female workforce is presented along with its theoretical framework. After that, the worldwide impact of globalization and the change of female workforce as a result of globalization in Turkey is explained in the framework of datas so, the research is completed.
