Yunanistan'daki Kur'an kurslarının din eğitimi açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Yunanistan´da İslam din eğitiminin yapıldığı en önemli kurumlar Batı Trakya´daki Kur´an kurslarıdır. Bu araştırmada söz konusu Kur´an kurslarının sistem içindeki konumu, din eğitimi açısından imkanları ve uygulamaları konu edilmiştir. Çalışmada kursların programları, amaçları, ders kitapları, kullanılan yöntem ve teknikler, hoca-öğrenci-veli iletişimi gibi konularda durum tespiti yapabilmek amacıyla hoca, öğrenci ve velilerle mülakat yapılmıştır. Bu kapsamda İskeçe iline bağlı Kur´an kurslarında görev yapan yirmi hoca, eğitim gören yirmi öğrenci ve on veli ile birebir görüşülmüştür. Araştırmanın sonucunda Batı Trakya´daki Kur´an kurslarında ders ders kitapları ve uygulanan yöntemlerde bazı eksikliklerin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kurslardaki eğitimin daha verimli olması için çocukların seviyelerine uygun olarak her sınıf için farklı ders programları ile ders kitaplarının hazırlanması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yine elde edilen veriler din eğitimi sürecinde kullanılan yöntem ve tekniklerin modern eğitim anlayışına uygun hale getirilmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir. Batı Trakya´daki Kur´an kurslarına yönelik ilk nitel araştırma olması, eğitim-öğretimin paydaşlarının önemli bir kısmından elde edilen verileri içermesi açısından araştırmanın öncü bir çalışma olduğu ifade edilebilir.

In Greece, the most important organisations in Islamic religious education are the Qur’an courses in Western Thrace. The research is aimed to understand and discuss the position of the Qur’an courses in the educational systems, the possibilities and applications that can be applied in religious studies. The study required interviews to be conducted with the teachers, students and parents to understand the subject syllabus such as programmes, aims, textbooks, methods and techniques used and the communication between the teacher, student and parent. There was a total of fifty participants who were each interviewed; this included twenty teachers, twenty students and ten parents whom work in the Qur’an courses in the Xanthi province. It was evident, as a result of the research, that there is a lack of knowledge provided by the Qur’an course programmes, textbooks and methods used in Western Thrace. It is concluded, by the results, for the courses to be more productive, each class must have a specific programme and related textbook that is appropriate for the students’ knowledge level. Furthermore, the results show that the methods and techniques used in religious education should be able to suit the current educational system. The research suggests it being an innovative study as it is the first qualitative research conducted to understand the situation of the Qur’an courses in Western Thrace which includes data gained from a substantial part of the educational system and their staff members.
