Abstract
Toplumlar var olduğundan günümüze kadar, toplumsal etkileşim ve değişimler sürekliliğini korumakta ve daimî olarak devam halindedir. Teknolojik gelişimlerle birlikte yaşamın her anlamda hız kazandığı çağımızda, sosyolojik olaylar da önemli ölçüde hızlanmıştır. Özellikle dijital iletişim ve medya sektörünün bu hızlanmada önemli rolü vardır. Diğer taraftan küreselleşme olgusu da dijital alanların gelişimiyle önemli ölçüde hız kazanmıştır. Bu gelişmeler birbirinden uzak coğrafilerde yaşayan toplumları bile, manevi anlamda birbirine komşu haline getirmiştir. Kültürel ve toplumsal etkileşimin karmaşık hal aldığı çağımızda, Türk toplumu ve onun temel taşlarından olan aile kurumu da çeşitli etkilere maruz kalarak değişim sürecine itilmektedir. Türk toplumu gibi, Türk aile ilişkileri de sürekli etkilenmekte ve tekâmül halindedir. Türk aile yapısının modern çağda hangi yönlerden etkilendiğini saptayabilmek amacıyla, araştırmamız konuyu kendi argüman ve hipotezleri çerçevesinde ele almaktadır. Türk aile kurumunda, aile ilişkilerinin şekillenmesi ve yeni ailelerin kurulmasında dini ve geleneksel değerler her zaman önemli role sahip olmuştur. Yaşadığımız çağda toplumumuza dahil olan yabancı etkenler çoğunlukla Batı merkezli olup ve seküler unsurlar içerdiği için, ilk başta dini ve geleneksel değerler üzerinde etkili olmakla değişimlere yol açmaktadır. Bu vesileyle araştırmamızda, İstanbul’da yüksek öğrenim gören öğrencilerin aile ilişkileri ve evliliğe bakış açıları, onların sahip oldukları dini ve geleneksel değerlerle birlikte analize tabi tutulmuştur. Aile ve evlilik ilişkileri üzerine odaklı olan araştırmamızda, ileri sürülen argüman ve hipotezlerin sınanması için, İstanbul’da yüksek öğrenim gören 338 öğrenci, araştırma örneklemine dahil edilmiş ve anket yöntemiyle araştırma sorularına katılımları sağlamıştır. Elde edilen bulgular istatistiksel verilere dönüştürülerek, sosyolojik görüngede analiz edilmiştir. Gençlerin aile değerlerine ilişkin görüşleri incelendiğinde, istatistiksel olarak birçok anlamlı p<.001) ilişkiler tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulguları özetleyecek olursak; Türk aile ilişkilerinde yabancı kültürel değerlerin izine rastlanılmakla birlikte, aile ilişkilerinde aşınma olduğu, ancak önemli bir değişim olmadığı kanısına varılmıştır. Tarihler boyunca olduğu gibi günümüzde de Dini ve Geleneksel değerler Türk aile ilişkilerinin şekillenmesinde önemli role sahiptir.
Since societies have existed until today, social interaction and changes have maintained their continuity and are constantly ongoing. In our age, where life has accelerated in every sense with technological developments, sociological events have also accelerated significantly. Particularly the digital communication and media sector plays an important role in this acceleration. On the other hand, the phenomenon of globalization has also accelerated significantly with the development of digital fields. These developments have turned even societies living far away from each other into spiritual neighbors. In our age, where cultural and social interaction has become complex, Turkish society and the family institution, which is one of its cornerstones, are being pushed into a process of change by being exposed to various influences. Like Turkish society, Turkish family relations are constantly affected and evolving. In order to determine in which ways the Turkish family structure has been affected in the modern age, our research examines the subject within the framework of its own arguments and hypotheses. In the Turkish family institution, religious and traditional values have always played an important role in shaping family relations and establishing new families. In the age we live in, foreign factors that enter our society are mostly Western-centered and contain secular elements, causing changes by first affecting religious and traditional values. On this occasion, in our research, the perspectives of higher education students in Istanbul on family relations and marriage were analyzed together with their religious and traditional values. In our research, which focuses on family and marital relations, in order to test the arguments and hypotheses put forward, 338 students studying at higher education in Istanbul were included in the research sample and participated in the research questions using the survey method. The findings obtained were converted into statistical data and analyzed from a sociological perspective. When young people's views on family values were examined, many statistically significant (p<.001) relationships were detected. If we summarize the findings; Although there are traces of foreign cultural values in Turkish family relations, it has been concluded that there is erosion in family relations, but there is no significant change.
