Abstract
Eldeki çalışma erken dönem hadis rivayetinin temel kavramlarından biri olan isnâdı, biçimleri ve kullanım amaçları yönüyle ele almaktadır. Muhaddislerin birden fazla isnâdı çeşitli metotlarla birleştirerek yaptığı kullanımlar çalışmanın odak noktasıdır. Hadisin usul ve ricâl gibi alt literatürlerinde mütâbaat, telfîk, tahvîl, cem‘u şüyûh, makrûnen rivayet gibi kavramlarla ifade edilen söz konusu isnâd biçimlerinin hepsini konu kapsamında inceleyebilmek için birleşik isnâd kavramı vazedilmiştir. Sonrasında bu şemsiye kavram altına giren isnâd formları tespit edilerek araştırmanın sınırları belirlenmiş, tarama kümesi de Buhârî’nin (ö. 256/ 870) el-Câmi‘u’s-sahîh’i içerinde yer alan ilk 1000 isnâd ve aynı kitap içerisinden özel olarak seçilen 20 kişilik râvi kümesinin bütün isnâdları etraflıca notlanmıştır. İncelemeler esnasında tespit edilen birleşik isnâdlı rivayetlerin kullanım amaçları tespit edilmeye çalışılmış, bu esnada başta İbn Hacer’in (ö. 852/ 1449) Fethu’l-Bârî’si olmak üzere Buhârî şerhlerinden; ricâl, ilel ve suâlât kitaplarından faydalanılmıştır. Tespit edilen birleşik isnâd kullanım amaçları sıhhate ve lafız-manaya yönelik olanlar olmak üzere ikiye taksim edilerek her başlığın altına giren amaçlar maddeler hâlinde örnekleriyle birlikte açıklanmıştır. Böylelikle hadis rivayetinde isnâdın kullanım yönüne farklı bir yönüyle ışık tutulmuş, hadisin hadisle desteklenmesi meselesine birleşik isnâdlar açısından yaklaşılmış, muhaddislerin hadis kabul-ret şartlarıyla birlikte eserlerindeki hadis tahrîc metotlarına dair literatüre katkıda bulunularak isnâdın hadis ilmindeki önemi vurgulanmıştır.
This study focuses on the concept of isnād (chain of transmission) in early hadith narration, considering its forms and purposes. The use of multiple isnāds by scholars, combined through various methods, is a central aspect of this work. To comprehensively examine the various forms of isnād expressed in terms such as mütābaʿat, talfīq, taḥvīl, jemʿu shuyūh, and makrūnen rivāyah within the sub-literatures of hadith methodology and narrators, the concept of “composite isnād” is introduced. Subsequently, specific forms of isnād falling under this umbrella concept are identified, and the scope of the research is defined. The study includes an analysis of all the isnāds from the first thousand narrations found in al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaḥīḥ by al-Bukhārī (d. 256/ 870) and a selected group of 20 narrators from the same book. During the examination, the purposes behind using composite isnāds are explored, drawing from Ibn Hajar’s (d. 852/ 1449) commentary Fath al-Bārī on al-Bukhārī’s work, as well as other relevant sources on narrators, their attributes, and inquiries. The identified purposes of composite isnāds are categorized into two main aspects: those related to authenticity (sahih) and those related to wording and meaning. This study sheds light on a different dimension of the use of isnād in hadith transmission, contributes to the literature on hadith authentication criteria, and emphasizes the significance of isnād in the field of hadith scholarship.
