Covid-19’un lojistik sektörüne etkisi : Türkiye örneği

Abstract

Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (DSÖ) tarafından pandeminin ilan edilmesiyle tüm dünyada bazı alanlarda kısıtlamalara gidilmiştir. Üretim yavaşlamış, istihdam azalmış, bireylerin alım gücü düşmüş, yoksulluk artmıştır. Sokağa çıkışa kısıt getirilmesi çiftçilerin tarlalarında iş yapmasını engellemiş, gıda krizinin kapısını aralamıştır. Sokağa çıkma yasağı kapsamında lojistik gibi iş kollarında kısıtlamaların ciddi problem olacağı düşünülerek lojistik gibi bazı sektörlerde izin belgesi ile çalışanların işlerine gitmesi uygulamasına gidilmesi lojistiğin önemini göstermektedir. Tüm dünyayı kasıp kavuran bir salgının karşısında lojistik sektörünün durumunun incelenmesi de kaçınılmazdır. Nakliye firmalarında karı belirleyen şey düşük mazot fiyatı, kısıtlamanın az olması, ücretlerin düşüklüğü gibi unsurlardır. Pandemi döneminde artan maliyetler rekabeti zorlayan önemli bir faktör olmuştur. Bu çalışmada tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan Covidin lojistik üzerindeki etkisi incelenecektir. Covid-19 pandemisinin lojistik alanında etkilerinin daha önce yeterince incelenmediği görülmektedir. Bu amaçla Covid-19’un lojistik sektörüne etkisi ve Türkiye örneği incelenecektir.

With the declaration of the pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), restrictions were made in some areas all over the world. Production has slowed down, employment has decreased, the purchasing power of individuals has decreased, and poverty has increased. Restricting curfew prevented farmers from doing business in their fields and opened the door to the food crisis. Considering that the restrictions in business lines such as logistics within the scope of the curfew will be a serious problem, the practice of going to work with a permit in some sectors such as logistics shows the importance of logistics. It is inevitable to examine the situation of the logistics sector in the face of an epidemic that swept the whole world. What determines profit in shipping companies are things like low diesel price, less restriction, low wages. Increasing costs during the pandemic period has been an important factor forcing competition. In this study, the effect of Covid, which affects the whole world, on logistics will be examined. It is seen that the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in the field of logistics have not been adequately studied before. For this purpose, the impact of Covid-19 on the logistics sector and the example of Turkey will be examined.
