Abstract
Bu çalışmamız bir giriş, iki bölüm ve bir sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Şevkâni'nin hayatı, şahsiyeti ve eserleri ele alınmış, önemli eserleri hakkında kısa bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde ictihâd hakkında genel bir bilgi verilmiş, ictihâdın tarifi, şartları, hükmü, ictihâda duyulan ihtiyaç ve benzeri konular işlenmiştir. Çalışmamızın asıl kısmı olan ikinci kısmında ise Şevkâni'nin ictihâd ve taklid hakkındaki görüşleri, bu görüşlerin etkisi ve benzeri konular ele alınmıştır. Sonuç kısmında ise çalışmamızda ulaştığımız sonuçları kısaca açıklamaya çalıştık.
SHAWKÂNİ AND HİS VİEWS ON İJTİHÂD This thesis contains an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, I gave information about the life of Shawkani, his characteries and his works. I also introduced his important works briefly. In the first chapter, I made a general over view about ijtihad and studies its definition, conditions, etc. In the second chapter, I studied views of Shawkani on ijtihad and taqlid and the effects of his views upon other scholars. In the conclusion I briefly put the results of the study.
