Abstract
Burhânüşşerîa, Sadrüşşerîa, Kemalpaşazâde, Birgivî, görüş, eleştiri, savunma. ÖZET “Birgivî’nin Şeyhayn (Burhânüşşerîa ve Sadrüşşerîa) Savunması” isimli tezde Birgivî’nin Risâle fî reddi’l-ıslâh ve’l-îzâh isimli eseri çerçevesinde Burhânüşşerîa, Sadrüşşerîa, Kemalpaşazâde ve Birgivî arasında geçen tartışma aktarılmıştır. Tez, bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde tezin konusu, amacı, önemi ve tezde takip edilen yöntem belirlenmiştir. Birinci bölümde “Reddiye kavramı ve Birgivî’nin “Risâle fî reddi’l-ıslâh ve’-l îzâh” isimli eseri hakkında bilgi verildikten sonra tezde eserlerini incelenen müelliflerin biyografileri, konuya başlamadan önce araştırmacının zihninde bulunması ve konuyu anlamaya yardımcı olması için aktarılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Birgivî’nin risâlesindeki sıra takip edilerek, konu hakkında önce Burhânüşşerîa’nın ve Sadrüşşerîa’nın görüşleri verilmiştir. Sonrasında Kemalpaşazâde’nin bu iki müellife yöneltmiş olduğu eleştiriler aktarılmış ve son olarak da Birgivî’nin bu eleştirilere verdiği cevaplar (yani Birgivî’nin savunması) ile bu bölüm bitirilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde de Kemalpaşazâde’nin eleştirileri ve Birgivî’nin savunması genel hatlarıyla değerlendirilmiştir. The dissertation, titled “Birgivi’s Defense of the Shaikhayn (Burhan’us-Sharia and Sadr’us-Sharia)” focuses on the dispute between Burhan’us-Sharia, Sadr’us-Sharia, Kemal Pashazade and Birgivi, within the context of Birgivi’s Risala fi Radd’il-Islah wa’l-Izah. The dissertation consists of an introduction and three chapters. Presented in the introduction are the subject-matter, objective and significance of the dissertation as well as insight into the method abided by in its completion. A brief explanation regarding the concept of raddiya and Birgivi’s Risala fi Radd’il-Islah wa’l-Izah in the first chapter is followed by the biographies of the figures investigated, for the benefit of conducing to a better understanding for a researcher and presenting a preliminary backdrop. Compliant with the order of Birgivi’s treatise, the second chapter first provides the respective views of Burhan’us-Sharia and Sadr’us-Sharia, followed by a recounting of Kemal Pashazade’s criticism of the two figures. The chapter finally ends with Birgivi’s rejoinder to Kamal Pashazade, that is, his defense of the Shaikhayn. The final and conclusive chapter provides an overall evaluation of Kemal Pashazade’s criticisms and Birgivi’s defense.
