Publication: Dış politika yazarı olarak Ömer Rıza Doğrul: hayatı ve dış politika anlayışı
Abstract
Ömer Rıza, Osmanlı İmparatorluğunun yıkılmasından, yeni, genç bir devlet olan Türkiye Cumhuriyet’inin kuruluşuna, cumhuriyet tarihimiz için çok önemli olan bu zaman dilimine tanıklık etmiş bir yazardır. Doğrul, bu sure içinde aralıksız yazarlığına devam etmiş, o zaman için ender görülen dış politika yazarlığı yapmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, çok yönlü bir yazar olan Ömer Rıza’nın az bilinen tarafı olan gazeteciliğini ortaya çıkartmaya çalışmaktır. Biz bu çalışmada, Doğrul’un yazdığı yazıları inceleyerek dış politika yazarlığı hakkında bilgi verirken, özellikle İslam ülkelerine bakış açısını ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Ayrıca bu çalışmada Cumhuriyet gazetesindeki ve kendisinin çıkardığı Selamet Dergisindeki yazılarını inceleyerek, II. Dünya Savaşında Avrupa, Orta Doğu ve Uzak Doğu ülkelerinin siyasi durumları hakkında bilgi vermeye çalıştık. Çalışmanın son kısmında, yazarın düzenli yazmış olduğu Cumhuriyet gazetesi ve Selamet dergisindeki yazılarının başlıkları, yazdığı tarihi ve dergi-gazete numaraları ile bibliyografi çalışmasını ekler bölümüne koyduk.
Ömer Rıza is a writer who witnessed the period of time,from the fall of Ottoman Empire to the foundation of a new and young state Republic of Turkey,which is very important for our history of republic. Doğrul went on writing continuously during this time and worked as a writer of foreign politics,which was rarely seen at that time. The aim of this work is to reveal the journalism that is a very little known side of Ömer Rıza who is a versatile writer. In this work while Doğrul's ideas about the religion Islam are being given,his point of view to Islamic countries is also aimed to be shown by gathering from his writings.Also by means of his writings in the newspaper 'Cumhuriyet' for which he worked as writer from 1939 till his death in 1952,we tried to analyze the Second World War and the searches for peace at the end of the war by seperating them into three parts as Europe,Middle East and the Far East. In the last part of the work,we put the headlines of the writings,which he wrote regularly in the newspapers 'Cumhuriyet' and 'Selamet' with their dates and the numbers of magazine-newspaper and the work of bibliography into the addition part.
