Türkiye'de 15 Temmuz darbe girişimi sonrasında yükselen militarist söylem : börü örneği

Abstract

Türkiye’de 15 Temmuz 2016 tarihinde ordunun içine sızan Fetullahçı Terör Örgütü (FETÖ) mensupları tarafından gerçekleştirilen darbe girişimi sırasında halk ve ordu arasında çatışmalar meydana gelmiştir. 300’den fazla kişinin ölümüne, 1500’den fazla kişinin yaralanmasına sebebiyet veren çatışmalar sonucunda, halkın orduya bakış açısı olumsuz şekilde etkilenmiş ve bu durum ordunun itibar kaybı yaşamasına neden olmuştur. Takip eden süreçte FETÖ mensuplarından arındırılan ordunun itibarını geri kazanabilmesi için gerçekleştirilen militarist propaganda faaliyetleri; ülke genelinde militarist söylemin yükselişe geçmesine sebebiyet vermiştir. Bu çalışmada, Börü (2018) ve Börü 2039 (2021) dizileriyle birlikte Börü (2018) filmi sinemasal söylem çözümlemesi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, Börü projesinin içerdiği militarist söylemi ve bu söylemin altında yatan militarist propagandayı ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, nitel paradigmanın bakış açısıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Börü projesi; içerdiği milliyetçi, militarist ve şovenist unsurları planlı bir şekilde harmanlayarak militarist söylemin popülerleşmesinde ve ülke genelinde yükselişe geçmesinde önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Börü projesinin başarısı, sinema ve televizyon alanında militarist içerikli yapımların artmasına ve militarist propagandanın genişlemesine sebebiyet vermiştir. Genişleyen militarist propaganda, ordunun 15 Temmuz darbe girişiminin ardından azalan itibarının yeniden artmasını sağlamıştır.

During the coup attempt carried out by members of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) who infiltrated the army in Turkey on July 15, 2016, clashes broke out between the people and the army. As a result of the clashes that resulted in the deaths of more than 300 people and the injuries of more than 1,500 people, the public's perspective on the army was negatively affected, and this caused the army to lose its reputation. In the following period, militarist propaganda activities carried out in order to restore the reputation of the army, which was purged of FETÖ members, led to the rise of militarist discourse throughout the country. In this study, the film Börü (2018) was examined along with the TV series Börü (2018) and Börü 2039 (2021) using the cinematic discourse analysis method. The aim of the study is to reveal the militarist discourse contained in the Börü project and the militarist propaganda underlying this discourse. The research was conducted from the perspective of the qualitative paradigm. The Börü project played an important role in popularizing militarist discourse and its rise throughout the country by systematically blending nationalist, militarist and chauvinist elements. The success of the Börü project led to an increase in militarist content productions in the field of cinema and television and the expansion of militarist propaganda. The expanding militarist propaganda allowed the army to regain its reputation, which had diminished after the July 15 coup attempt.
