Tayyâr-Zâde Ahmed Atâ'nın Tuhfetü'l-Fârisîn Fî Ahvâli Huyûli'l-Mücâhidîn adlı Baytar-Nâmesi (Giriş, inceleme, Tenkitli metin, Açıklamalı dizin, Tıpkıbasım)

Abstract

Tuhfetü’l-Fârisîn fî Ahvâl-i Huyûli’l-Mücâhidîn adlı eser Tayyâr-zâde Ahmed Atâ tarafından Arapça telif eserlerden tercüme edilerek yeniden terkip ve tertip edilmiş olan bir baytarnâmedir. Elli dört bölümden oluşan eser bir tıp metnidir. Konusu at hastalıkları ve tedavi yöntemleridir. Eser hastalıklar ve tedavi yöntemleri haricinde atlarla ilgili hadisler, atların iyi ve kötü özellikleri, atların dişlerinden yaşının tespit edilmesi, atın ahırının ve bedeninin temiz tutulması, atlara binme inme kuralları, atı nallamanın usulü, taylara yürüme ve hareketin öğretilmesi gibi konuları da ihtiva eder. Eser Klasik Osmanlı Türkçesi ile yazılmıştır ve dönemin dil özelliklerini göstermektedir. Bazı kelime ve eklerin eskicil şekillerini koruduğu da görülür. Çalışma “Giriş” bölümü dışında; “İnceleme”, “Tenkitli Metin” ve “Açıklamalı Dizin” olmak üzere üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. “Giriş” bölümünde eserin müellifleri Aristo ve Muhammed el-Bahş ile eserin mütercimi Tayyâr-zâde Ahmed Atâ Bey hakkında bilgi verilmiş; eserin nüshaları, içeriği ve bölümleri tanıtılmış; veteriner hekimliğinin ilk medeniyetlerde ve Türkiye’de tarihî gelişimi zerinde durulmuş; metin kuruluşunda izlenilen yöntem ve teknik anlatılmıştır. “İnceleme” bölümünde yazım özellikleri, ses ve şekil bilgisi incelenmiştir. “Tenkitli Metin” bölümünde A1, A2, T, M, S, W nüshaları karşılaştırılarak metnin yazı çevirimi verilmiştir. “Açıklamalı Dizin” bölümünde metinde geçen kelimelerin alfabetik sıra ile gramatikal dizini verilmiştir. “Sonuç” bölümünde çalışmanın sonucunda elde edilen bulgular ve bu çalışmanın alana katkıları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda, metin tertibinde esas aldığımız A1 nüshasının tamamının tıpkıbasımı verilmiştir. Ayrıca W nüshasındaki resimler de tıpkıbasımın sonuna eklenmiştir.

The study named Tuhfetü'l-Fârisîn fî Ahvâl-i Huyûli'l-Mücahidîn is a baytarnâme manuscript which was translated and recomposed from Arabic written works by Tayyârzâde Ahmed Ata. The study, which consists of fifty-four chapters, is a medical text. Its subject is equine diseases and treatment methods. Apart from trace diseases and treatment methods, the thesis includes hadiths about horses also include subjects such as good and bad characteristics of horses, determining the age of horses from their teeth, keeping the horse's stable and body clean, the rules of riding and dismounting, the method of horseshoeing, and teaching the foal to walk and move. The work was written in Classical Ottoman Turkish and shows the language features of the period. It is also seen that some words and affixes preserve their archaic forms. Except for the “Introduction” section of the study; It consists of three main sections: “Analysing”, “Criticized Text” and “Annotated Index”. In the “Introduction” section, information was given about the authors of the study, Aristotle and Muhammed el-Bahş, and the translator of the work, Tayyâr-zâde Ahmed Atâ Bey; copies, content and sections of the study were introduced; the historical development of veterinary medicine in the first civilizations and in Turkey was emphasized; the method and technique used in text formation were explained. In the section “Analysing”, spelling features, phonetic and morphological information were examined. In the “Criticized Text” section, the text translation of the text was given by comparing the A1, A2, T, M, S, W. In the “Annotated Index” section, the grammatical index of the words in the text was given in alphabetical order. In the “Conclusion” section, the findings obtained as a result of the study and the contributions of this study to the field were evaluated. At the end of the study, the facsimile of the entire A1 copy, which we used as a basis in the text arrangement, was given. In addition, the pictures in the W copy have been added to the end of the facsimile.
