İhtida ve dine dönüş öykülerinde din eğitiminin yeri

Abstract

Hayatı boyunca değişen ve gelişen insanın inancı yaşam boyunca aynı kalmamaktadır.İçsel ve dışsal nedenlerden kaynaklı olarak hayatın bazı dönemlerinde dini inançlarda değişimgözlenebilmektedir. Kişiler, çeşitli nedenlerden dolayı mensup oldukları dini terk ederek yenibir dini seçebilmekte veya mensubu olduğu dinin gerekliliklerini yapmaya başlayarak dinselhayatını yoğunlaştırmak isteyebilmektedirler. Kişilerin yaşadıkları bu dinsel değişiminpsikolojik ve sosyolojik nedenleri olduğu gibi eğitsel bir süreci de vardır. Bu araştırmanınamacı ihtida ve dine dönüş süreçlerindeki din eğitiminin rolünü ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçdoğrultusunda nitel araştırma geleneği içerisinde yer alan fenomenoloji araştırma desenikullanılarak ihtida eden kişilerin öykülerine otobiyografik ve biyografik eserlerden ve mülakatyöntemiyle ulaşılmıştır. Dine dönüş yapan kişilerin verileri ise derinlemesine mülakat yapılarakelde edilmiştir. Bu verilerden elde edilen bilgiler din eğitimi ekseninde değerlendirilmiştir.Araştırmanın problem, amaç ve yöntemine ilişkin bilgilere Giriş bölümünde yerverilmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde çalışmanın kavramsal ve teorik zemini yer almıştır.İkinci bölümde ise araştırma kapsamında literatürden ve mülakatlardan elde edilen bulgularınanalizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın üçüncü bölümünde elde edilen temalar ihtida ve dine dönüşsürecindeki din eğitimi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç ve öneriler bölümünde,çalışmanın genel değerlendirmesi yapılmış, çıkarımlar ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.Din eğitiminin ihtida ve dine dönüş sürecinde etkili olduğu söylenebilir. Ailede verilendin eğitiminden başlayarak mühtedilerin ve dine dönüş yapan kişilerin süreçteki din eğitimlerionların dini değişimlerini etkilemektedir. Bu süreçte kişilere yapılacak din eğitimini niteliğinindini rehberlik ve dini iletişimin ilkeleri ile doğrudan alakalı olduğu görülmüştür. Bu bağlamdaaldıkları nitelikli din eğitimi ve din eğitimcilerinin tutum ve davranışları onların din hakkındakişüphelerinin giderilmesini ve dini benimsemelerini sağladığı ortaya çıkmıştır.

The belief of a person who changes and develops throughout his life does not remain thesame. Changes in religious beliefs may be observed in some periods of life due to internal andexternal reasons. People may choose to leave a religion for a variety of reasons and choose a newreligion or they may want to intensify their religious life by starting to fulfill the requirements ofthe religion they belong to. There is an educational process for this religious change as well aspsychological and sociological reasons. The aim of this research is to reveal the role of religiouseducation in the process of inter-faith and intra-faith conversion. Using the phenomenologicalresearch design from among the qualitative research traditions for this purpose, the stories of thepeople who have converted were obtained from autobiographical and biographical works andinterviews have been applied to them. The data of the people who have experienced intra-faithconversion were obtained from in-depth interviews. The information derived from these datas havebeen evaluated in the light of religious education.Informations about the problem, aim and method of the research was given in the sectionof Introduction. In the first section, conceptual snd theoretical background of the study was given.In the second part, the findings obtained from the literature and the interviews was analyzed. In thethird section, the themes obtained were evaluated within the framework of religious education inthe process of inter-faith and intra-faith conversions. In the section of Conclusion and Suggestions,general evaluation and inferences of the study was made and suggestions were given.It can be said that religious education is effective during the conversion processes. Startingfrom the religious education in the family, the religious education in the process of the convertsaffects their religious changes. In this process, it is seen that the quality of religious education to beprovided to individuals is directly related to the principles of religious guidance and religiouscommunication. In this context, a qualified religious education and the attitudes and behaviors ofreligious educators have enabled them to overcome their doubts about the religion and adopt thereligion.
